Best IPad knee board
I use this weekly in light twins and single engine trainers. It’s the best solution I’ve found yet to protect my iPad and make it useable in flight. I’ve used softer knee boards which then I broke my iPad with, this is sturdy and protects it in case I drop it. I pair it with the pivot knee board leg strap in flight and it works great!

Fits my iPad Pro 11 well, and protects well.
The Pivot A20A serves its target purpose: To keep my iPad safe while I fly. This is relative to my previous iPad case which allowed an iPad to bend enough to break. One improvement I see: Establish a way to hold/attach the cover of the Pivot when it is removed.

1400$ damage using this case!!
Bent my 1400$ iPad removing this case! (followed the instructions). On the title there's no iPad 11 pro gen4 compatibility but on Amazon product description and pivot website they have this model compatible with iPad pro gen 4 and that's why I bought it and my iPad got stuck in it. I guess there's no case can fit all 4gen iPad in one design. that's why other companies spend money to do a redesign!! But this company just want to keep the profit up I guess!! plastic quality is pretty bad!! comparable to a regular 15$ case! pretty chunky!! they don't have much competitor, so I guess they just talking advantage of that!

Pleasant Surprise
I have not had an opportunity to use the Pivot Case in the course of my job; however, it does appear to be better quality than other IPAD Cases I've tried recently. Will update review if I discover something unexpected.

So far it really nice
I really like it so far, it does exactly what I need it to do. I will have to wait and see what happens when the ride gets bumpy, but I think its will be fine.

The Best
Sturdiest, most protective iPad Cover on the market. Swivel attachment makes it perfect for using iPad while flying my plane.

Good product for what it advertises. But some lack of forethought into design.
Love the toughness of the case and the ability to "prop" up the unit when viewing. I love the ability to swap with different mounts--FAST AND EASY!Negatives: with this model they do not include button extenders for the side of the iPad, making it extremely difficult to change volume or actuate the side controls even for individuals with small hands. Also, the case does come with a hard-shell to cover the screen when not in use; however, when in use (but not in mounted on a yoke---think coffee shop, airport, park, etc.) the cover cannot mount or attach to the back of the unit so you have to stow it somewhere separately, and I can see the cover being misplaced or lost. That leads to the next issue. This case does not come with any screen protector while it is in use---I use the iPad for many other functions than just flying, so if I am walking or moving from one location to the next...there is no protection if the iPad does a "face-plant" from an accidental slip. Also, the very stand that 'props' up the device, is very difficult to up, and even when it starts to open, it feels 'flimsy', as if it will break if I am not careful to open from one side or another. The leading edge of the stand is also somewhat sharp, causing me to nearly cut my finger. All, this being said, none of this issues would be a major deal if the current item as a fraction of the price, but this unit is just BLOATED in price. Check into the X-grip from RAM Mount or another competitor for other options. Until Flyboys, upgrades their product and downgrades their price, I won't give 4-stars.
