For my application, I pre-drilled a 3/8 hole to minimize wall boards tearful and ensure accurate placement. Absolutely love these, need to sell black screws as an option.

Avoid the cheap anchors. When they break off during installation, you might have to dig at the wall to get them out. These are worth their price. They go into drywall easily, either with a screwdriver or a drill. I've never had one fail.

E-Z Anchors for medium to large Art and Claws for smaller stuff are my go to hanging hardware. Highly recommend.

I've used EZ Anchors since they were first invented years ago and live them. I've tried some off brands made of plastic and they don't compare to the original.Take my advice and save yourself from buying any off brands. Buy the original and you'll never have problems or second guess yourself about how sturdy they are and you'll be able to reuse them in the future.

These work on drywall. The anchor screws into wall with a hand-Phillips head screwdriver. I used them to hang shelving. The directions were spot on. Easy to do. Much better than plastic anchors that came with the shelving. Highly recommend these.

The tips on these broke off on a couple of them as I screwed them in, but I was still able to use them after drilling a shallow pilot hole before screwing them in.

I saw a youtube video for hanging art on drywall and they recommended this product above all others. They were right. After placing a small punch where I needed the post, these anchors followed their metal tip and easily screwed into the drywall. I hung the 56 lb mirror framed with an elaborate metal decoration. I used two just to make it easier to adjust. BUY THESE ANCHORS!!!!

I checked videos and found reference of this product and it’s really easy to install on drywall with only screwdriver.
