Great for overhead audio / mixing board setups.
We moved to the VTX 1000 solely because of its use of audio in / out. This is the perfect analog conference phone if you'd like to hook it up to an overhead sound system w/ mixing board. The menu system makes it easy to setup, and audio is very clear. Just be aware that the RCA jacks for the audio in/out are set into the transformer fairly deep, so you can't use cables with large heads surrounding the connectors.

Mediocere sound quality for such an expensive speakerphone
Mediocere sound quality for such an expensive speakerphone. When it worked, it was mediocere. I tried the Konftel 300 and the Panasonic TS730 as well. The Panasonic wins hands down, I was very surprised.

This was a refurbished polycom and it did not work, we had to send it back. We were not satisfied
