Very helpful book to have with you, so many great places and ideas in Bruges!

Rick Steves has the details in this new guidebook.The author chooses to focus his detailed narrative on the four major cities of Belgium: Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp, and Ghent. Each has an interesting mixture of old and new in terms of history, architecture, museums, and culture. The author offers some excellent suggestions on how to move around, what to see, and where to sleep and eat. The book includes notes for the famous battlefields of Waterloo and of Flanders.As with other Rick Steves guides, the enterprising traveler is encouraged to read the whole book and digest the many details before committing money to a trip. The book includes a nice selection of color and black & white photographs, and some useful maps for exploring cities and moving around Belgium. Well recommended.
