I dislike buying generic game controllers, but the actual Sony game controllers are so expensive so I decided to give these a try. After using these for a couple weeks I would say just go ahead and spend the money for the Sony game controllers. These do not work very well, and one of them basically became unusable after like six days because some of the buttons stopped working.

Great purchase
The controller turns off on its own if not used for a few minutes. It saves on the battery life a lot

Don't buy it for precision. It uses 8-bit instead of 10-bit values. choppy.
6-Axis: While the controller DOES have a 3-axis accelerometer, its bit depth is very low. It seems to be using 8-bit for all sensors rather then 10-bit. This means 1/4 the precision of a OEM controller. You can tell this by looking at the numbers while I hold the controller still. It goes up and down in increments of 4 rather then 1 like it should. Not to mention the Motion sensor (I'm assuming that's the G) only has 3 states rather then the 1024 it should have. For example: I immediately noticed that in LittleBigPlanet the head of sackboy (which uses the 6-axis) doesn't rotate smoothly at all and likes to snap to different positions.Joysticks: They joysticks are smooth as anything. However they suffer from the same 8-Bit precision so that the joystick inputs are choppy.Pressure sensitivity: the pressure sensitivity of the buttons are way too sensitive. The difference in pressure from None to full pressure is almost nothing. This includes the Triggers.Triggers: The triggers are uneven and activate at wildly different spots. They are very resistive and feel better then OEM controllers to press. But trying to utilize the pressure sensitivity is nearly impossible.Ergonomics: Maybe for a different hand size this would be comfortable but those indents on the back of the handles are extremely uncomfortable.
