Less fat
Cooking the bacon in this pan/rack in the oven produces less fat and evenly cooked bacon. It’s great but only holds 12 pieces of bacon. Most packages of bacon that I do buy has 16 pieces of bacon. Why not make one with 16 slots for an available 1-lb/16 pieces of bacon, just a suggestion.

Great for Baking Bacon
I bought this as a second pan to bake bacon. My only complaint is that I cannot fit a whole package of bacon into this pan. It only took me 2 years to figure out I needed a second pan so I can cook all the bacon at once. This is easy to clean and works very well. Recommend.

Nice Idea, Poor Result
We had a different bacon tray which could only do four pieces at a time so we got this tray.We tried this tray for the first time on some center cut bacon, but there was a problem. We filled the tray completely and put the strips with the fat side down. The meat side was done nicely, but the fat side was nowhere near done. We had to finish them in the microwave.I got another package of center cut bacon and this time we are going to put the fat side up.Putting the fat side up helped, but I didn’t cook the bacon as long as the kind suggested so the bacon wasn't cooked as well as I would have liked. Again, we finished the strips in the microwave. We'll be getting a third pound of center cut bacon, cook it fat side up, and for the full amount of time.Even cooking with the fattier side up and for longer than suggested does not get the bacon done like we like or think bacon should be. We had to finish them off in the microwave. Again.Nice idea to be able to cook almost a whole package of bacon at once, but the result was less than ideal.

It works within limits!
Worked as advertised! We like it and will keep using it. I gave it four stars for cleaning as nothing covered in bacon grease is easy to clean but I like that it can be put in the dishwasher. Use thin slice or regular sliced bacon, don’t overload the tray and be sure to put it into a hot 400 degree oven. We baked ours a good 45 minutes because we like it crispy and it shrunk up but was easy to remove and didn’t get stuck in the cooking rack. I would not try to cook thick slices of bacon in it. It’s best suited for regular thin bacon.

This is a NO GO!
This pan is nowhere near what is advertised. It provides no better results than microwave, oven, frying pan, and also takes longer. If you follow the instructions you will get burned bacon on the side closest to the top of the oven. The other side of the strip that faces inside the pan will be practically uncooked. I finally made good bacon with this thing but it took about 7lbs of thick and thin to figure it out. I prefer my bacon crispy. Others prefer bacon flimsy. My results are successful for me because I like crispy bacon. Your Tastes and Mileage May Vary. My recipe for success using a conventional oven in the USA:1. Place foil on the lowest rack of your oven.2. Place pan on foil to prevent splatter and avoid direct heat from below.3. Place foil on the middle rack of the oven directly over the pan to protect the pan from direct heat from above.4. Turn down the temp and get ready for a longer cook - 300 to 350 for 40 to 60 mins or longer - I usually check in 15 minute increments. Thick bacon can take an hour at 350.5. When it looks crispy and not burned, turn off the oven and let it cool with the door slightly open.6. Remove pan from the oven after several minutes and put the bacon on paper towels to rest and soak up a little grease.7. If you want the bacon crispier, throw it in the microwave between 2 paper towels for 30-60 seconds, let cool and enjoy.Positives - Pan is easy to clean and with some time and prep it can make good baconNegatives - Takes WAY to long to make decent bacon. Way too easy to mess up the bacon. Too much tweaking needed for different styles of bacon lovers - soft vs crispy. This might be better suited for a convection oven instead of a conventional oven.Verdict - Do Not Buy!

I Love It!
I love bacon, but hate the mess of cooking it on the stove top. Not to mention having to hover over it while cooking. Ugh!Well, this nifty gadget is awesome. It fits in my Toaster Oven (large size, obviously), so I can cook up to 12 slices in 24 minutes, without preheat. While the grease drains off easily enough, the drippings do require a bit of soaking. But, I can deal with that! Some complain of the bacon overhanging the edge of the pan. I placed regular sliced bacon length wise, and it fit perfectly.
