ordered the battery but it wasn't charging fully to 100 percent and ran it thru my hp assistant battery checker and was showing as faulty , i got in contact with the supplier and was given a replacement at no extra costs and showed up the following day , works fine now

Due the battery being weak on my laptop and not holding charge I purchased this one. I checked the HP website to find out the correct one and it would have costed much more from there. Was easy to fit and lasts 5+ hours on full charge.Update - After using the laptop for a couple of weeks with no issues one day the battery would not charge and was stuck on 5% battery life. The light where the AC adaptor is plugged started to flash white instead of a constant red to indicate the battery being charged.

Worked great at first but after just a few months I am back to only being able to use the laptop with the battery plugged in. The second the plug comes out the laptop shuts down - there is zero independent life in this replacement battery which is even worse than the original when I replaced it!Edit to add that they contacted me after this review to offer a refund or replacement. I accepted a replacement so hopefully this one will last longer.

I got this as the old one has had its day, charging fully but cutting out at around 50%, with the odd boot up warning informing me that my battery has seen better days. So I got this one as I was confident it would fit … and it did.As with all replacements of batteries you have to make sure you get the right one or there’ll be nothing but trouble. So make sure you check this is the one for you before buying it.This battery is about 185mm long, 90mm by 6mm thick with 8 screw holes (not all holes need to have a screw in them, the reason for the holes is that not all laptops have the same screw holes even through the same battery works on different one.)The code on this battery is HTO3XL, the other info you might need is it’s 11.55V 41.9Wh Nom:3630mAh … so check your figures and, if you get access to the old battery first, the numbers should hopefully match up.My laptop’s a 15da range and this fitted right into place without any trouble. I followed the recommendations, charge it up fully, discharge it fully, charge it up again … you know the score, and slotted this home. Since then this battery has done a great job in keeping my laptop out of the plug socket at home. The battery lasting as long as it should do.In all, a fine replacement battery which does exactly what it’s supposed to do and at a reasonable price too. Just make sure you’ve got the numbers of the old battery before you buy.

My HP Pavillion started having battery issues a couple years ago, and recently has only been able to remain unplugged for maybe an hour... maybe. It was time to break down and get a new battery... or a new laptop. 🤔 But I don't have that kind of cash right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️The battery came with 2 small screwdrivers (a Phillips and a Torx) and an "instruction manual" that only had numerous hazard warnings in English and in German. If you need instructions on how to install your battery, you'll need to do an internet search or something, which is what I had to do. I've never changed a laptop battery in my life! And let me just say, it didn't go as well as I would have liked. 😭 But that's my problem to deal with.Once I installed the battery and everything was mostly put back the way it was (may the one screw rest in peace), I charged my laptop. While charging, I checked to make sure the battery was overheating or anything, which it didn't. It took a couple of hours before the battery was fully charged and then... the moment of truth. I pressed the power button, and... an error message! NOOO! I went through the process of restarting my laptop, and that's when the magic finally happened. I've now had my laptop unplugged for about 24 hours, and my battery is at 76% (laptop hasn't been on or used much within that time)! With the old battery my laptop would have had no charge by now. It appears my installation was a success and that this battery works like a charm!
