Effective and safe
After ordering this I found my old "red" loader.In trying it out, I pinched my hand and had to hold back very manly tears.Tried out this one and no injuries.Seems a little pricey for what it is, but it works.

Not good quality made
I am a Vet so decided to try this Vet made Loader. Top piece came off first time inserted a 22 clip. Like it was made by a printer. I glued it back only the next time I used it, the loader came apart at the base. So am returning it. Will order a different brand for my wife to use. If going to advertise as Vet owned, improve the quality of the products you sell. This one is a failure!
