Small and convenient. Reasonable output. Better build than pictures portray.
First of all the mic is small, ideal for a small peripheral. It has a TRS connector but is mono. Has a good volume output but needs a 3v-5v power supply from whatever it is plugged into. Has the same volume output as my cameras internal microphone and about the same quality. Main advantages are you can point it or add it to a lead to extend. Can be used with a windshield. Build quality is better than expected and very light. The reasonable frequency response of around 60-150kHz. No on-off switch which is good as I don't have to remember to switch it on. Has limited inbuilt noise shock absorber which works well for sound handling isolation as long as you don't touch it. The three stars for sound is purely subjective. It's very good for the price and sound sounds similar in output to my Rhode Video Pro mic but with no control over output or frequency response. It is reasonably small and never appears in shot. Works well with Osmo Pocket audio adaptor. Very good front to rear sound rejection. Would recommend.

Works well
Works very well no issues, 3.5mm connection could be a bit firmer to connect and a small protective case would have been nice but overall good value.

Superb!
I purchased this mic primarily for use with my new GoPro Hero6 black to give better sound recording than the inbuilt GoPro mic. I have a Rode VideoMic Pro+ that I use with a Panasonic Lumix GH5. This records very well but is quite bulky. About to go on a big trip to Australia and decided to try the Saramonic mic with the GH5. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound with the GH5, so have decided to leave the Rode mic at home and use the Saramonic with the GH5 and the GoPro. Very impressed with the quality and a vastly smaller item to travel with! Purchased a pack of wind muffs to go with it and they work brilliantly!

Great design. Audio quality is OK at best.
This little mic has a unique design. It looks like a miniature version of the Rode Video Micro, except it plugs directly into your cameras 3.5mm jack without any cables. The mic has a small footprint sticking out the side of the camera instead of sitting on the top with a cold shoe suspension mount. You can also bend it forwards or backwards to suit your needs. It comes with a foam pop filter cover and it performs well enough although offers no help with wind noise. The audio quality isn't very impressive to be totally honest. It's OK at best but if your planning to use it for production use, like YouTube videos, then I'd give it a miss. It can be made a little better in post but if you have a ear for good audio then it'll bother you. That said, the sound is decent for the price point. It would be fine for home videos or if you get the TRRS version then it will definitely improve videos recorded on your smartphone, if that is your thing?I've returned mine and decided to stick with the Olympus ME51SW, as that one is stereo and has a cable and clip to be used as a lavaliere. To see my audio samples of this mic in a video, paste following text into youtube's search bar:hGTnYxfvSc1Y

Mini microphone
Doesn’t work so well on a motorcycle a lot on interference and you can hardly hear your voice on playback other than that it works well.

Fuzzy, clicking sound - audio quality awful
It's such a shame that the quality of this product is so bad as the actual microphone seems well built and is an ideal size for small cameras. We tested the audio quality on our camera and computer - for both there was a loud clicking noise constantly over the top of the audio it recorded and also a fuzzy sound. I wouldn't recommend this microphone. The price seems good but the actual product is unusable due to the poor quality.

Totally worth every penny! Get 2 and have a spare!
This thing is amazing! Dont need any of the expensive mic's, this one does an awesome job indoors, about 4ft from the GoPro and its recording me loud and clear! If you are doing selfies with your GoPro or Vlogging, then this is wicked, its tiny, so its descete too, and you can just flip it round in a second.
