Kids Light Weight Shock Proof Handle Case for iPad Mini / Mini 2 / Mini 3 (Blue)

Okay we all know small people shouldn't have phones or tablets and they shouldn't be used as a babysitter but I'd say most of us are guilty of giving in just for a bit of quiet time! But when the game/program finishes and the child gets frustrated the device is likely to be launched over the room which leaves you wishing you'd paid that extra money for a protection case. That describes my case exactly. Quickly onto Amazon and found this little beauty.Delivery was super quick (thankfully as I was hiding the tablet to prevent further tantrums) and it arrived brilliantly packaged, didn't fit through the letter box but that was okay as my postman is a hottie and thankfully I was dressed with makeup done 😉 Anyway....... the case is super sturdy but still flexible enough to get the tablet in. I did read some reviews that said it was a struggle but I found if you slide it in sideways starting with the tablet closest to the handle, the bottom part is stretchy enough to be pulled over no problem. The tablet fits perfectly snug with probably no chance of coming out no matter how many times of what way it it thrown by my temper prone 2 year old. My only slight gripe would be it is difficult to reach the top on/off switch but that's only a minor gripe.The handle allows the tablet to be sat upright on a surface or your lap for viewing, it does at the moment sit at almost a perfect 90 degree angle but I'm hoping with more use it will tilt a bit further back although this makes absolutely no difference to viewing.All in all, this is an absolute bargain, superb for the price and I wish I had purchased ages ago.

It's cheap, it fits, it keeps the iPad safe and it has a bezel for holding it up on a table. It's hard to give this anything less than 5 stars, but I would say it's not perfect. Two things stand out:1) It doesn't come with any instructions, so when I was removing the placeholder plastic which helps it keep it's shape I was anxious about putting too much pressure on the edges in case I damaged it. But it didn't break and stayed in one piece.2) The power button is a little hard to press. Sure, I have the strength to push it, but my 5 year old daughter struggles to press it. She presses the home button instead to unlock the tablet, so she's adapted.Got the orange one so it stands out as my iPad Mini 2 is black. Good purchase.

Nice protective covering

Good iPad case, seems robust enough for our toddlers to handle and has a handy carry handle/stand. There is no space for the on/off button which is annoying because you need to take the iPad out to use this button.

I gave my 3yr old my old iPad mini (the original one) but it needed some protection, they are after all quite expensive to replace and my little-un isn't exactly careful. This case is superb. It appears to be made of some kind of high density foam and offers a very high degree of shock resistance. My son dropped his pad down the stairs in this case and both survived unscathed. I can't recommend it highly enough. The stand is handy for watching films and the handle makes it easy for him to carry his favourite toy. Brilliant. Only issue I can see is him swinging it around as there is no protection for the screen. Well worth the five stars.
