Good primer
I followed the instructions closely. My puzzled wife then asked why I was wearing both her and my winter coat. She didn’t get that for the best results you are advised to apply 2 coats! In all seriousness, I haven’t tried this on a wide range of plastics. But this primer works well so far.I bought it for two projects and potentially a third. First and foremost, the premium branded kitchen in our second home abroad is three decades old, luckily due to the design it still looks stylish and up to date, that is, apart from plastic top and bottom strips of the glossy white cabinet doors, that have yellowed over time. I’ve tried a few tricks like using acetone to diminish the yellowing but unless I can paint them the next step would be to order new cabinet doors. I found that the primer looses its stickiness after about 30 minutes, but that it takes 24 hours to fully harden.I found good plastic spray but for a lasting, proper job a plastic primer was recommended. So I stumbled upon this Rustoleum brand with generally good reviews. The job was a bit more complicated as I had to unscrew a batch of cabinet doors, put masking tape in place ect. But the result is there. Both layers of paint have applied well and the doors look fresh again. With this primer I suppose I have a better chance that the paint remans in place for at least a good few years. The other job was to apply white paint on the yellowed electronic fixtures covers in the house like the covers of the door bell and smoke alarms. Both are relatively cheap devices to replace but since I had the primer and spray it was worth a try. Again, the result is very good, the primer applied well in an even manner. And since the covers are more or less our out of reach I’m quite confident it will last.Lastly, I’m a big craft modelling enthusiast, and have several sets of plastic soldiers. Annoyingly these are created from soft plastic (I still don’t understand why). This makes them loose paint when handled or transported. Its typically recommend to use a layer of good plastic primer and this Rustoleum is generally advised. I tried it on a few figures and I must say it sticks and covers very well but I haven’t applied detailed further layers of paint yet. The matt white finish of the primer is a good base for later colours.Of course it would be best if other than for a small puff of spray to use this canister outdoors and shake well before use. In that case I would actually wear a coat.I typically so my pain spray job on a stand on the lawn when there is not too much wind.

Good plastic primer for minatures
I bought this white plastic primer as a cheap alternative to citadel or army painter branded spray paints for use with some warhammer minatures I bought. The first coat using the spray is slightly patchy with some of the grey plastic being visible through the initial coat. As this was sprayed on a hot day it took around 15-20 minutes to become touch dry and a second coat provided full coverage without obscuring any of the details of the minatures. A really good alternative to more expensive brands for minatures.

5 Stars BUT KEEP ANY SPARE NOZZLES as mine blocked :(
It's the first time I've used Rustoleum brand paint and I bought a few different cans. I was impressed with the coverage and in particular with the metalic paint, just how much metal flake there was. Results were excellent. HOWEVER on using the latest can - this time the Plastic Primer, the nozzle clogged with almost a full can still of paint. This happened despite shaking for well over a minute first, and during spraying. SAVE THE NOZZLES from the other cans if using a few for your project. This will enable you to swap so that you don't waste any paint. I decided to buy a bag of 10 replacement nozzles for future use. Unfortunately I had binned my spent cans of paint. Note to self: Always save the nozzles.
