It does what it's supposed to do.
I use them at remote sites using 5G modems as primary internet. Certain models of these modems are notoriously buggy such that using this power strip along with a unifi console / routers it can detect loss of internet and power off / on the 5G modem. Works like a charm. As others have said, requires a unifi controller.

Great product - Device Management is part of Unifi's Unified Console
This is a great product and it works great! I have a couple of them at different locations. Keep in mind that you effectively have to have your other networking equipment hosting the Unifi OS. If you don't have a UDM, UDM Pro or SE, or a Unifi Cloud Key in your current network, then you won't be able to use the interface that allows you to remotely manage and restart each socket. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, then you should probably assume that you don't have it. Self-hosting the Unifi OS is also an option, but if you're doing that then you know what I am talking about anyways.

Requires Unifi Console and UAPs to use features.
There are several poor reviews, this is clearly because users purchased this unit not realizing it requires a Unifi Console and UAP for the advertised features to work. Without those things this is just pretty power strip. For me, these work great. It automatically resets my cable modem if there is packet loss. Being able to remotely reset devices is excellent.

It might work, I'll never know. I do not have a Ubiquiti Wi-Fi Access Point.
We were not aware that this product requires a Ubiquiti Access Point. Too bad really, their cameras work well for us, we probably would have purchased more of these strips.

BUYER BEWARE! - Additional Hardware Needed for This To WOrk
For this powerstrip to work, you must have an Ubiquiti wifi router. I confirmed this with Ubiquiti tech support. This should be stated in the product description.

Do not buy, doesn’t work and there’s no support
Even if you have a full UniFi solution, the whole entire ecosystem is a very big hit or miss. Stuff doesn’t simply work out of the box like it should and you will undoubtedly have to do a lot of troubleshooting no matter what. This strip is added differently than other devices under the hood and there’s no way to manually force adoption like some other devices. This leaves you with a very expensive dumb power strip. Don’t bother contacting support, there’s nothing they can do. The entire line is defective so getting a replacement will do you no good. Then they’ll give you the run around on a refund. There was a time this company was an interesting new solution but do your research and you’ll see they’ve gone into the toilet and not worth the cost or effort. I wish I never bought into the company and now slowing replacing everything. Buyer beware!
