Choosing the right instant coffee to suit my taste has been a long-running struggle for me, since I have a preference for a rich roast and strong smooth taste found in freshly ground coffee without the determination to invest in a coffee machine nor the space for another work-top appliance. Clipper outshines most with their huge range of mostly organic teas and other hot drink ingredients, but it wasn't a brand that struck me to offer good instant coffee.Needless to say, I'm very glad I stumbled upon this particular instant coffee, to be able to enjoy the convenience of just mixing with hot water without compromising on taste. Clipper also satisfies those concerns around buying responsible, fair trade coffee. I mostly drink the coffee black, but would highly recommend mixing with agave syrup and unsweetened almond milk for a creamier coffee minus the guilt!

This coffee is moreish.... it tastes lovely with milk and sugar... and without... some of the stronger ones are impossible to drink without adding tons of everything... for younger people this won't rip your taste buds out....!!.. fair trade needs to promote more of its items to bring equality to the world... we know so little and experience even less without them..... ❤️❤️❤️

Finding it increasingly difficult to obtain organic coffee locally. This papua new guinea roast is medium to strong. Smooth with no bitter after taste.

This is an ok coffee but nothing terribly exciting tastewise. The taste is rather mild and smooth but not rich. There is no acidity, which is something that I like. It does not make me hyper, which is another plus and overall, like all Clipper products that I've tried, it is a good quality product. However, I like my coffees with a bit more character and this coffee is just too mild tasting. I've been drinking the Kenco Costa Rican instant coffee for quite some time and I find the Kenco one to have more character. The Clipper coffee is great to be used as an afternoon coffee or to be offered to guests who enjoy having coffees with milder strength and taste. This is the only reason I would keep it in my cupboard.
