Braun Series 3 Electric Shaver Foil Cartridge, 30B

Very good blade replacement for my Braun contor 5875 bit concerned if it would fit being a old model but it was great gave me a very good shave. All in all very pleased with my purchase would buy again .

To my amazement sent from south Korea !! Manufactured in Germany, sent to Korea, to be shipped to the uk. The modern way I guess.Arrived in excellent time, in good order. I agree with a previous reviewer - I don't know if the "improved" design is in fact an improvement, but it fits well, and works. I'll update when I have a few shaves under my belt.Update Sept 2015: well, a bit of an either way conclusion. In the interim, while I was awaiting delivery, I used my spare, a Lidl £15.00 shaver of similar design. Found I preferred it, better battery life, quieter (the Braun feels industrial in comparison), a battery indicator, and as good a shave.Recently went on as trip, took the Braun as my travel shaver. A pig to recharge (it hadn't been used for a year), but it did, and held charge. Still industrially loud and buzzy, but I do think perhaps it shaves better....

This item as advertised as a cutter and a foil, when it arrives it will just be the foil, Amazon claim the item is worth £24.99 and that they are selling it for £6.51. When I complained, I was promised a replacement that would contain the foil and the cutter, they said it would be checked before dispatch to ensure it was correct. I wasn't really surprised when the replacement arrived and it was again just the foil and not the cutter. Phoned to complain again, now Amazon will not send a replacement, just a refund and a suggestion that I could order from a third party seller on Amazon and only for the princely sum of £30, more that 4 times the original price.I fell cheated and let down, it appears to me that Amazon are deliberately falsely advertising this product, the price seems to be wrong, the description is wrong, the pictures are wrong, the so called savings are wrong but for only 4 times the advertised price they will sell you what you wanted

The recommended replacement period is 18 months - but after 3 years my Braun was not giving me the shave I wanted. After replacing the foil and cutter with the 31S Combi Pack it is shaving as good as new. If your foil is passed its 'change-by' date, I can recommend this replacement. Fitted my Braun Series 3 390 cc but then on the back of the shaver it did say Use Parts 31S so you'd hope it would. Shape and size same as original and perfect replacement, foil and cutter design slightly different from the original, no doubt things change over the years. Shaving performance much improved but then my old foil had holes in it which did make shaving a bit painful.If you've never replaced your foil and cutter would recommend it as you don't realise just how poor things were until you fit new ones and get a smooth chin back.

Without going overboard the cheapest replacement found.1st you must find your model number & in may case 390cc2nd look at the razor or manual to see if it states which parts are required e.g. 31s or 32s (suggest stick to this)This is important & you should contact Braun for any advice as some 31s shavers can take the upgrade to a 32s but not all ??Remember s=silver or b=black and should not really matter unless its important to you.All in all I did my home work & thankfully got it right but there are a few who do not. I was still dubious when I ordered but it works great in my shaver 390cc with 31s parts as stated on the razor.
