This is an attractive laundry basket, really easy to put together (I liked that there is a video on the product listing to make life so much easier). The build quality is excellent. It looks really smart. It is a good size, I’d say it could hold about four wash loads for my machine, and I am pleased I went for a basket that encourages you to separate your colours. Mostly, given the price you really can’t go wrong. And with it being so light weight, you can easily move it even when it was plenty of washing in there. You could easily just remove the canvas liner to drag that down to the washing machine too. I didn’t realise when I ordered it that the lid is attached by two rings at the back, and that it a nice little feature.

So I bought this laundry basket as a major upgrade, as my last laundry basket was fairly cheap, had lost a leg and only lasted me 12 months; on receiving my parcel, I was quite excited, having read the reviews and hopefully FINALLY getting my other half to put his clothes in some sort of basket, (I can work with light and darks after with him).On first appearances I was really impressed, its light weight with leather effect handles that tone nicely with the wood, and the inner bag is a good size, with the light/dark embroidered on rather than printed meaning it will last longer, if the bag itself needs washing.Then I assembled it, I'm not sure where it went wrong!I opened out the frame, had put my base in, pulling the metal ring up to the top as instructed and had started to clip the metal ring in place to secure the top, when one of the press stud sections fell off in my hand. I had merely touched it and it came away, as it hadn't been sown in properly. I continued, one clip thing down out of four, as the basket seems to still support itself.How this basket will survive because of the fault, I'm not sure, but I'm giving it ago!The lining looks great and fits really nicely, although the colour of the lid is slightly lighter than the rest of the basket, which is lighter altogether than whats advertised, and I'm not sure about the large gap between two sections of wood, but I can turn the basket round so that can't be seen.The basket is obviously made to store clothes for laundering, rather than transporting them, as the materials won't take the weight for this XXL basket.Overall, I like this basket, its going to do the job and look half decent, but if you want something that is of a high quality or consistency this might not be for you!

Easy to assemble apart from getting the lid on, but we got there in the end. We have the lid flipped open for easy use, so you can't see the top in the photo.Looks great, and definitely durable as long as you don't intend on carrying it about when full.Really useful!Some people have put photos of a wonky lid... They just need to swivel it round more, so dont let this put you off as they can fix it themselves.

This looks great but it almost feels like it is made from cardboard. The lid keeps coming off, the lining has ripped and it slips down as soon as any laundry is inside. The inner wire rings that hold the shape top and bottom simply aren't enough to be used as it's only structural support.Very disappointed and wish I had spent a bit more on a decent "functional laundry hamper" instead of this "decorative laundry hamper" which I will have to replace.

Ordered this on line as we needed a larger basket.This fitted the bill ideally and at a good price and delivered quickly

It looks lovely....easy to put up.....easy to clean....downside is the bottom falls out lots. And the is not made well. I had to secure the bottom myself.

Good size. Quite sturdy. We’re using it for him & her sides instead of light & dark.

Love this in my bathroom. After using it for a few weeks I then bought the single sized one so I can divide up colours, darks and whites. The fabric liner is easily removed and replaced which I put in the wash too - it washes well. The ties have ripped a little bit but that is probably because of family members stuffing the baskets close to laundry day!!
