Tissot Gents Watch PRS516 T0444302105100

I like automatics; have a Tag, Omega and also Orient, which is a great watch for a fraction of the price of the first two. This Tissot PR516 measures up well. The dial is vey sportylooking without being very loud. Nice understated classy looks; easy to read. The red second hand is a great touch. The lume is good with the dial clearly visible in the dark. This is a big watch, as you can see, 42 cm solid block of steel. I have a fairly slender wrist, but I wanted a large watch; if one has misgivings about a large watch, well, this a large watch. The bracelet is solid steel. The watch stands out and few people have already commented on it. Looks much more expensive than the 340-odd that I paid on Amazon. Tissot movements are usually very good, so am expecting good time keeping as well. Overall, great buy.

I gave it 4/5 stars because of its weight and because the closing mechanism from the bracelet has worn out quite a bit after 5 years of use. Downside is the bracelet cannot be repaired/adjusted or replaced entirely. Other than that, fantastic value for money, as the design is brilliant, it's an automatic, its safire crystal glass has not gotten a single scratch in over 6 years and the watch as a whole is extremely shock resistant (I've banged it against many household objects and have had no problems because of it, except the scratches on the black frame). Safety clasp should prevent you from dropping it in airports too!

This is a great watch, the quality is superb and looks and feels a lot more expensive then its retail price. I made the transaction on Amazon late on a Sunday evening and I was amazed that my watch arrived early Friday morning from New York.

Excellent watch at a competitive price and delivered the next day

A week after buying this watch it stopped working. I sent it back to Tissot and it is currently being repaired. I would not recommend buying from this website again.

A Tissot watch does not need a recommendation, being such a well established brand. The watch is heavy, an aspect which should be considered when buying it. As expected, it looks absolutely perfect in every single detail. The bracelet is large enough for a big forearm and can be adjusted too. It comes with a warranty certificate, issued by an authorized distributor. The only minus is on the booklet about Tissot history, which is in Spanish (the authorized dealer is in Spain, but this is not mentioned when you buy it). The watch was a gift for my son, who is in his early twenties, and seems to have bin a hit.
