How does it work? By covering up the good eye you are encouraging your child’s brain to use the lazy eye and the vision should improve. You are in fact stimulating the brain cells corresponding to the lazy eye, this then causes the brain cells to develop and hence the vision should improve. Patching is a very successful form of treatment, but it is only successful as your child will allow – if they will not wear their patch then the vision will not improve. Happy little boy.

Good alternative to stick ons
These are great for kids that can't stand the stick on patches as they don't sit on the face. The material is soft on the side closest to the face but not a tickle type material. Ours has lasted really well.

Lovely design but to big for the frame
Bought 3 different designs for my son (4), the designs are lovely, the fabric and quality is good, the only downfall for him, is that his frame is small making the patch to big for him, and because of this the patch doesn’t sit properly meaning he can actually peep where he catches the light.

Would definitely recommend
These are really good and make patching more comfortable and exciting. It's worth buying two so you have a spare one.

Wow easy to fit and 5 year old likes the design
My 5 year old needs to wear this for 90 min per day and regular patches were not an option! He loves the different designs and it's not a struggle anymore. Great idea and thanks for fixing the mix-up in the first shipment with ease.
