I'm looking to fade a 100% cotton striped shirt which is 2 shades of pink. I'm looking to fade the shirt for a more distressed look. Would this work?

It's not designed to do what you're describing so the results would be unpredictable. It's also worth noting that this works in the machine on a hot setting, followed by a wash cycle, followed by a cycle to clean the machine of the remaining product. If you only have one shirt then this might be a little extravagant. You have to keep the item moving constantly and submerged but it will work very quickly in the boiling water, usually 20-30 minutes. Make sure you rinse well with more hot water as this helps further remove the dye."}}]}]}
