Very easy to use
Extremely powerful blower, not yet used the suction but very pleased with the unit.

Very Good Value For Money
Last year I borrowed a garden vac/shredder from a friend to clear the leaves. It was a well known and popular brand but it was big, heavy, awkward to use and not very powerful. It's only saving grace was that to change from blower to vacuum/shredder all that was needed was to push a lever between the two settings.The Stihl SHE71 however, is fairly light, not too big, fairly easy to use and has a very powerful motor. Its only disadvantage is that you have to change from blower to vac/shredder by physically removing one set of parts and replacing them with the other set. This may become easier with practice but it's a fiddly job.In use this machine is excellent both blowing wet and dry leaves and then vacuuming and shredding them. I would recommend it for that reason alone and would rate it at 5 stars but for the awkward process of changing the parts over.

Not impressed
Not easy changing attachments for different functions. I wouldn't advise this product for a more senior person or someone with arthritic problems or similar. The on/off switch is also a bit temperamental and I often have to dash back to the mains socket to switch it off.

check it over before assembling
I only gave it 3 stars due to the on/off switch was faulty and not able to switch it off, so poor quality control is a factor in the item .`I was going to send it back due to the faulty switch but on disassemble i was unable to separate the 2 suction tubes so take that into account when assembling .As i was a electrician i decided to fix the switch myself as it only involved loosening 3 screws in the handle and repositioning the switch to enable to switch it off . So check switch is ok when receiving item

Still leaf blower
Fantastic blower. Present for hubby. He loves it. He is tall and the method of use suits his frame. Quite powerful. Arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Which recommended.

light, effective and quiet
Very easy to use and quieter than previous one we had (but it was 15 years old to be fair). It is nicely balanced so you can use it 1 handed

Mixed blessing
Leaf shredding is very poor hardly reduces volume at all. As a blower it is ver good light and easy to use.
