Q: What's the difference between this and Dali e-12f ??

About £100 . Seriously though, the e-12f has a 12" woofer and the e-9f woofer is 9" . Both have the same power output with the difference being in the frequency range dB 35-190 against 28-190. Bigger = Lower Many people, including myself, consider the e-9f the more "musical" of the two with the e-12f seemingly better suited to giving a cinema application a more exciting and involving experience. Neither are supplied with speaker covers. these have to be purchased separately from Dali (although a certain "pile'emhigh" vender does currently include them in the price)

Q: Would this subwoofer work with the Yamaha as-301 Amplifier

I have a Yamaha receiver and have two subs attached. You can attach where the amp drives or the sub. Good instruction come with the Dali. Great sound too for surround sound or hi fi. I bought two for balance but one should be great too as gives a big bass sound wow

Q: What's the finish on the what is the finish on the front is it gloss or Matt

The front of mine would best be described as satin; certainly not as glossy as it looks in the picture.

Q: Would it be worth spending more on the e12f when on a budget with the zensor 1s

My advice would be to get the e9f and spend the difference on decent cable or stands for your zensor 1s
