Love this project, makes skin feel soft

I have to be honest the earthly smell keep me from wanting to try this scrub but that was due to my own ignorance when it came to the smell of turmeric. Once I got pass that I feel in love because the scrub is soft but affective. It not only lift the dead and dull skin away it moisturizer the new layer. I started using this on my elbows and after seeing the texture change I quickly moved to my face and neck. I now ware less makeup because my skin look vibrant and has a glow to it and the tone has evened out.

It is a little on the dry side at first but if you leave it on for a few seconds before scrubbing then the oils in it have a chance to transfer to your skin. Then add a bit of water and scrub. The smell is not so wonderful. If you've ever smelled turmeric then you'll know the earthy scent I speak of. This scrub leaves behind smooth and soft skin when I rinsed it off. I do like this scrub, especially because it's so natural.

I have tried another turmeric scrub in the past, and this one is very similar in look and feel. It is fairly fine grain sugar. It has the perfect amount of oil and feels almost buttery. The oil absorbs nicely, especially when you leave it on for a few minutes as the instructions say to do.However, I was surprised to find that this scrub actually smells like turmeric. It doesn't have any artificial fragrances added, so it is a light natural scent that is kinda spicy and earthy. I am not a fan, and unfortunately, it very faintly lingers if you smell your skin after washing. I probably wouldn't buy this in the future for that reason, but others might not mind the smell or may even like the turmeric scent. If you don't, putting lotion on helps cover it up.I didn't use it in the bath because of the smell, and I prefer more gentle facial exfoliants. However, this product is a great hand scrub. The oils really soak into my hands well, and the sugar is soft enough to provide gentle exfoliation. I recommend it for that purpose if the smell isn't a dealbreaker for you.

The first time I ordered this product, it was beige, smelled nice, and made my skin soft and smooth. The second time I ordered it, it had a strong scent of nail polish and was a bright neon yellow. It didn’t rub into my skin as well as it did before, so I moved onto another product.
