Good question..... I pulled info from their website and have looked at the label on the bottle and can not find anything saying silicone. Why use Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard? L1 Leather Guard forms a durable abrasion resistant matte finish which offers the best ever protection against abrasion damage, UV rays, dye transfer and other discolouration. With added BioCote® antimicrobial technology, treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. Friction protection is particularly important on seat bolsters, seat piping and any other high wear areas. The anti stain function is most relevant for light coloured leathers which are typically stained by dark coloured fabrics such as indigo jeans.

I have used it with no issues. You try it in a small area before going the how seat

This question can't be easily answered as it depends on how heavy you apply, the size/type of the seats, what parts of the seat you apply it on (seat, back, rear, headrest, etc), and how often you re-apply. I purchased my last bottle almost 2yrs ago. I apply heavy coats on the front two seats and normal coats on the rear bench seat every 2-3 months. Right now it's just about empty. Just to give you a rough idea of how far it can stretch.
