Duracell DRNEL3 Premium Analog Nikon EN-EL3 EN-EL3a EN-EL3e Battery D90 D300 D700 7.4V 1400mAh

I have a Nikon D300, and these batteries seem to charge up on a standard Nikon charger, and seem to hold their charge long enough to take a decent number of photos on one charge.

As a replacement for the ‘official’ Nikon battery in my Nikon D200 it works well and is 100% compatible.

I bought one of these to go in a Nikon D700 camera and it works, well, kind of.... It powers up the camera, fires the shutter and does all the things a camera battery should do but with the D700 occasionally and without warning it seems to need to take a pause for a couple of seconds. During this time the battery warning light appears, the controls go dead and the shutter wont fire. Couple of seconds later everything's ok again. I get hundreds if not thousands of shutter cycles per charge and it does this throughout. So, as a battery its ok but if you're a news/sports snapper get an original Nikon one or you'll be missing the important stuff.

A great budget alternative to an original Nikon item.

May not last quite as long as a Nikon Original but a worthy backup. Never had any problems with it. Still going strong.Recommended as price was reasonable.Update November 2014 - starting to play up - does not fully charge up anymore and needs further charging to get it over 75%. It seems to be running low quicker so I'm going back to Xpro which have lasted much longer for nearly half the price price.

I do not recommend this product to anyone. I have bought four of these batteries to power my battery pack for Nikon D700 and the main body of my camera Nikon D700. The first time I bought these from the same seller I had problems the camera was not recognising the battery. When I got a new set they worked fine and went ahead and bought three more batteries. Again the same problem and this time the ones that were replaced also stopped working. I informed the seller of this and he advised me to return the products and he will do the refund etc. Well I just looked at the batteries, got P****d off and just checked them away, since I felt the inconvenience was too much to handle and felt it important to write this review and tell people to keep away from this product. Noting that the manufacturer was Duracell one would think that you are buying a quality product from Duracell well this has not been my experience. The other thing is, I am sure the seller is aware of these problems especially considering the number of batteries I have bought and all turning out to be faulty and why should pay for their return etc in their original packaging. Anyone one who has bought items in a sealed package know that the package gets shredded when you try to get to the item. Well, enough said and I hope people will think seriously before buying this item. My advice keep away from it and do not trust the seller and the manufacturer.
