This helmet is one of the best purchases I made, it is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and it is what I was looking for.

Love the helmet, hate the clasp
Like others mentioned, the male clasp is fastened on, not looped on, which is something I didn't realize until I noticed the male part was detached from the strap. I bought 29 days ago and used it almost daily. If there were some instructions on how to attach the strap back to the clasp, I would bump this up to 5 stars.

Wow! Seriously these are great!
I saw a woman pop hers open in NYC and I was immediately intrigued. Love my usual helmet but man, would LOVE to save space. Spoke to two other cyclists and they totally recommended, and said the cost was worth it! So as soon as I saw any discount I made my move! I was right on the boarder between M and L. Ended up going with M as it’s a better snug bit. Works REALLY great…I feel safe. It’s VERY light. I added some reflective tape from harbor freight on the back and I’m good to go. Thank you Amazon and Closca

the clasp / rubber band?
another reviewer commented on this already but I have to also chime in. Helmet straps have an webbing/strap edge that will NOT come out of the clasp housing. This one does. And it makes me wonder if the helmet should be down rated for safety. My Story: I was walking my dogs in the park - carrying my helmet in hand after the ride. Another dog scared my dogs and on leash, they bolted, causing my helmet to hit the shrubs and the clasp came undone from the little rubber bands. So for a minute I thought the helmet was toast because those rubber bands hold the webbing/strap into the clasp. IN this instance, they gave way, release the strap/webbing from the clasp mechanism so both sides of the helmet straps hung loose, unfastened, until I rigged up the webbing and looped it through the clasp housing. But all this makes me wonder....if my helmet just took a LITTLE jolt/force from 2 dogs pulling on my arm/hand carrying the helmet, and those rubber bands released the strap feed at the clasp, what would happen if the jolt was greater - say getting hit by a car in a crosswalk? I can't believe the rubber bands are supposed to hold the straps in place. Please, Closca, tell me it ain't so (at this price)?: Buyer beware - this may not be the cool helmet you think it is..... (note: if Closca comes back and lets me know I'm a dummy and I should throw away the little rubber bands and offers a secure fastening, I will retract this review and have a big slice of humble pie. thanks)

Magic folding; relatively cute
I really like this helmet! It's more comfortable than a traditional helmet, IMO. I like that it has protection on the back of the head as well. The folding feature is genius. I can pop it into even a smaller backpack, no problem. When it's popped out and on my head, it feels very sturdy. I got the white with the reflector and it's cute, reflects well, and part of it looks sparkly in regular light. I even got a compliment on this helmet!

Great Helmet ... But Lasted for 5 Months
Loved this helmet, while it worked. I bought it in early November of 2022, but the folding mechanism broke down come late March 2023. One of the plastic folding supports just randomly broke while I was unfolding it for my commute to work - no prior falls, collisions, or drops. Just randomly popped. While it functioned, it was very comfortable, stylish, and convenient. When not in use or just walking around the city, I could easily collapse it and throw it into my backpack and not have to carry around a bulky bucket helmet. It was great! Until it broke.I am giving it two stars as it was a stellar helmet for five solid months.I am writing this review now as I am in the market for a new helmet. I have been riding my daily commute without a helmet for the past seven months; family, friends, and colleagues have pleaded for me to buy a new helmet, so I figured I'd step back to write a review on this one (before you beat me down, yes, I know, I have done myself a great disservice and death-wish for not wearing a helmet for so long. I fully recognize that).Ultimately: I recommend this helmet for light use. For your daily commute? As tempting as the convenience factor is, I'm afraid the propensity for this to break down again is high.-- Can provide pictures if interested. I haven't had the heart to throw it away so it's just hanging on the coat rack, reminding me that I should be protecting myself while riding.
