3M Perfect-it III Fast Cut + Compound, 50417 - 1 Kg Bottle

I had recently purchased a new (second hand) car which was only 5 months old. I noticed that there was a scratch on the off side front door, which the showroom told me they would fix. When picking up the car, there was no trace whatsoever of any scratch. However, a few days later, I noticed a scratch on the near side door. This probably happened in a car park. I asked the showroom what they used on the original scratch, and they told me 3M Fast Cut. I decided to get some for myself, and the result has been outstanding. This product is ideally suited to a powered car polisher, but I just used it by hand. I thought that T-Cut was good, but this product, although much more expensive, achieves a far better result. Would certainly recommend this product. Very happy result.

Amazing cutting compound, I’ve used a fair bit of it and it has handled everything with ease even some orange peel! I would highly recommend this product!

After buying a car off an 86 year old you and imagine the stuff all over the car. I purchased this, the 3m quick cut pad and a cheap DA buffer. With no idea what I was doing it took out 85% of the scratches and brightened up the paint. Very happy with the result only issue is it’s expensive.

As most professionals know - 3M are the best polishing products on the market. And if you can get them at a resonable price(not overpriced from different re-sellers) - just get them and do the best quality polishing job for customers. Just no point to save a peanuts on different brand, due to awesome finish quality, more time to apply and possible not a happy customer....Thanks,

We use this in a commercial environment, it works very well for a hard cut, don't get me wrong, this will remove any overspray or top coat blunders. It works well in a commercial polishing machine as well, just keep the surface lubricated with a mist bottle of water, finish off with a finer grade.

Got my grandads abused red 10 year never cleaned van back to what eBay describes as nearly new, genuinely impressed with this product.

Applied it to headight which had laquer on it. Did shift some of the laquer. Was recommended by helicopter maintenance company
