PolarFitnesswatch with GPS, Bluetooth, Brown Copper, S-L

After a year of home office working, I needed something to help promote a better lifestyle. The polar ignite 2 did everything I was looking for: fitness orientated with good sleep tracking and an eco system that provides simple feedback and motivation. Battery life has got me through a long, active Bank-Holiday weekend and proven quick to recharge and synch. Now 6 weeks into a 10km training programme the variety of training events, automatically downloaded, has been great: stretching, core mobility, strength exercises in addition to heart rate profiled running. All this in an a light, attractive watch. Impressed.

Previous post have mentioned interface slowness and lag. I bought my Polar Ignite 3 on 17th November and since then there have been software updates which have all but resolved slowness and lag issues, so ignore the earlier posts. The display is beautiful and the watch is very light and easy to wear.

I have moved to Polar from another fitness tracking device (a very popular one). Polar beats the others hands down. Really nice looking, lightweight device. Battery seems to last a long time. The information provided on the app is good.I recommend :)

Perfect for tracking activity, sleep and training. Lots of sports to choose from, the heart rate and GPS have both been accurate. The Fitspark workouts are great as they guide you in each session. The battery life is good and it charges quickly. Also great for tracking my runs and lengths when swimming. I also like the music and having the weather is a bonus. It looks good, is light, slim and fits my small wrist well. Its' a great watch.

I bought the polar ignite 3 to replace my polar ignite 2 which went rogue 2 months out of its 2 yr warranty. Was really impressed with my replacement, loved the sleekness and almond screen of this watch, the band was comfortable, it had all I needed from a sports fitness watch, then 2 wks later this watch also started to go rogue, it started of by constantly restarting itself, every other hour it would restart mid training also several times during the night with the result there was no sleep tracked or skin temperature results, because it would restart itself during training the training exercise wasn’t recorded or saved either. I read on forms that several others were experiencing the same problem with polar watches, some had said to reset the watch back to factory settings which I done several times, but the watch only lasted a day and was back to its resetting itself again.. I’m most disappointed as I do like the polar community and loved the style of this watch, it was easy to use and done all I needed, however I’ve sent it back to seller and waiting on a refund, looking at other manufacturers of smart watches a bit of a minefield as I’ve only ever had Polar.

Great watch but the step counter is very in accurate, it counts steps when stood still if you move your arm, most people wear there watch on their left wrist so if your left handed it will double your steps, they suggest to wear it no your non dominant wrist but again if left handed this will not feel comforatble.

Terrific value for money. Great watch for tracking my Les Mills online and live classes. Good for logging runs and if you keep it on 24 hours it gives you loads of info re your sleep patterns.I’m so addicted to it now I feel lost when I have to take it off to charge!

Bit fiddly to set up, and a bit fiddly to use but guess I will get used to it. Good display
