Rust-Oleum 400ml Direct to Vinyl Spray Paint - Black, AE0130001E8

Used this to take a patterned roller blind, white with flowers on, to a solid black.The blind was an expensive one from bloc blinds and with a change of decor no longer went with the room it was in. Worth a try with a can before paying for a whole new blind.Covering a white blind with flower pattern. Approx 1m2.Used pretty much the whole can to get a uniform coverage, but once we let it dry for 24 hours (it did stink a lot, so this was in the shed!) it rolled back up into itself and we haven't had any issues with the vinyl sticking as it's unwound again.Really good and probably saved us £100 or so on a new blind.

This product although a bit expensive for the amount of coverage does actually work and is simple to apply. The finish is really good and it wears well as it does not rub off or crack. I would definitely use this again. All you have to do is make sure you clean the fabric well and follow the instructions. You don't really need any prior experience of spraying. Be patient and build your coats up and if possible spray onto a horizontal surface with your target laid as flat as possible and you wont get any runs. Even if you do get a run it disappears as the product dries. I said it is a bit expensive but on Amazon it is half the price of similar products elsewhere. I used it to cover a bright pink seat and it looks fantastic and only took two coats.

Used for first time today, easy to use and seems to do the job. Only issue is when I shook the can as instructed before use paint escaped from the top of the can, luckily had the lid on, concerned can seal may be faulty?

The paint is fine but the spray can seals are faulty causing the cans to leak or explode in your face. This defect has been reported repeatedly to Amazon and the manufacturer who have ignored safety concerns.

After just a few sprays, excess paint collects around the nozzle, on fingers and then it drips everywhere. Not great.

Forget every negative review. I can only thing these people do not know how to use a spray can. Lime green bar stools turned black with one coat. And a lovely finish. I can’t speak highly enough of this product. And I rarely write reviews but felt I had too!

Actual product paint was good but nozzle with tin was terrible, leaked everywhere and no spray pattern leading to “spotting” and terrible finish, after second tin (nozzle) was the same used a nozzle from another spray can which gave excellent results. Such a shame a poor quality nozzle ruined an other wise good product.
