Makes my chiminea look good again
I have a basic metal burner that I love lighting in the back garden randomly all year round. During the winter the rust set in and made it look a bit of an eyesore when not in use. I bought a tin of this paint with no expectations of how it would perform. Grinded the rust off first with a wire brush and slapped a bit of this stuff on. Have to be honest, I only done two coats on the flat areas and one everywhere else. It looks as good as new now and I have loads of pain left to paint it again when needed. Well worth it if you like your chiminea/ burner looking as slick as the night rider 😉

Value for money.
When i opened the box the tin was dented on one side no damage to box so must have been packed like so , but have previously used this product and i have allways been happy with the results. Best to use in open space because of fumes untill properly dried . Great product 👌.

Good product
Worked well on our rusty old chiminea. A quick wire brush and 2 coats of this paint really improved the appearance of our chiminea. A rough winter later and still looking pretty good , despite only having a half hearted rubdown prior to painting so we are well impressed to be honest.

Tiny but plenty
I was going to order two tins of this after reading reviews saying it was small. I put 2 coats on the chiminea and still have about 3/4s of the tin left!I stripped the rust of the chiminea best I could with a wore brush drill attachment before painting. Absolutely delighted with how it turned out. I used an old brush which I was happy to throw away after use.Your supposed to light the chiminea to allow the paint to cure but it began to rain so I had to put the chiminea in the shed. I'm expecting good results after lighting based on the reviews here.

Good product, easy to use, great looking finish.
Great product. Easy to apply using mini rollers which give a slightly mottled effect. Used it on my homemade fire pit and although the instructions say not to be used on direct flame applications there is no sign of blistering or flaking. Needs a well prepared surface with no rust or grease. Dries quickly so allows a couple of coats to be applied in one day.

Blackfriar's heat resistant paint
Used it to brush paint my oven door, on top of red oxide metal primer. It did a good job and seems to be heat resistant (max 200 deg Celcius). But I had to work quickly, as the paint dries fast and can leave visible brush strokes. If necessary, allow to dry fully before sanding and recoating. As far as I can tell, there is no noticable odour from the finished paint.

Inadequate description. NOT SUITABLE for Wood burners.
This product is inadequately described. It is NOT suitable for painting Wood burners or Multifuel stoves. The first thing it says on the tin is, "Not suitable for use on wood burning stoves or objects which come into direct contact with flames". The sellers could and should have included this in their description.Under Technical Details / Included Components it says, "Brush". There was NO brush included.
