Ordered this product because of policy of no use of real knives in the building for BSA activities. It definitely got the job done. Perfect for little fingers and safe keeping. Function of a real knife with the added comfort of safety. I will say the kids had to use quite a bit of force to cut through a cucumber (with skin on). Other than that, it was very easy and the kids had fun competing their activities while also getting real hands on knife experience.

My 3yr old daughter always wants to help me when I am preparing dinner. I was always hesitant because I didn't want her to get hurt when cutting up vegetables or fruits with regular knives or when cooking on the stove. She really just wanted to be apart of the action and help. These knives are perfect they allow her to slice soft veggies like cucumbers and zucchini for our meal prep and keep her fingers safe. She loves the little punch shapes to cut out fun shapes from watermelon and other fruits, but have a stick on hand to get them out of the cutter. It all helps to keep her focused and busy so you can keep her away from the more dangerous parts of the cooking process. If you have a helper in the kitchen this set is perfect to give them a way to safely participate in the meal prep.

Started our 3yo off with the green handled chopper and she's grown into all the knives by age 4.5. The set is a little overwhelming but the extras are fun. We love the little cutting board, too.

The knives are great and my 2yo loves helping cut his food up. The set comes with some blue, what look to be icing decorators, which are pointless and the cutting board is so tiny we just threw them away.

Safe knife set for the young helpers in your life. They are the same size as a regular knife but not as sharp. It's easy for the young helpers in your life to use. The shape cut outs make cutting fruits and veggies more fun.

Both my 6 year old and my 3 year old use these and help me cut up veggies and stuff for dinner. They are easy to use and to clean. THe little cutting board is really tiny so use a regular cutting board. It has shapes that they can cut out and my kids enjoy that too.

My husband is a chef and my 4 year old is always wanting to help him cook. This set was exactly what we were looking for and works great. The metal cutter is a bit sharper than anticipated, but the plastic knives work great. Works on everything from onions to grapes and tomatoes
