Good for a small job
A bit flimsy but did not cost much and was just right for the job I had to do, worked well . Came with spare blades.

Competent Equipment
The saw mostly worked well and I couldn't see another way to do the job without it. However, it would have been nice if the blade locked in position as it did move around a bit. I got around it so only a ssmall problem.

Pretty awful. Fell apart within 5 mins of use.
Handle did not stay connected for very long of not even hard use.I have since bought a magnussen one for £1 more and it has already lasted 3x as long. Don't waste your money.

Not fit for purpose!
I'm a big fan of Silverline tools, I've probably bought in excess of one hundred of their products now, and I think they provide value for money and offer a tool for just about every job.Unfortunately I have to report that on this ocassion I am not happy at all with my purchase of this Coping Saw.Mine actually came with a different coloured handle than the one illustrated, it was just plain wood rather than the black one shown in the picture, however this proved to be irrelevant because this was where the first problem appeared. The handle is very weak and even on my first use I feared it might snap, despite only using it to cut into some 3mm plywood. The blades are simply awful, they have virtually no strength and literally didn't last 60 seconds before twisting out of shape, again under only light use.The system to tighten the blades is very poor and simply doesn't work.I REALLY regret buying this product; ok, it's not the most expensive item of DIY I've bought, but then again at just under £6.00 delivered it's not the cheapest either. If I had to sum up this product in just four words they would be "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE".AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
