The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Over all the case does provide good protection. My only Con is the strange material the back side of the case is made of. I use the Scosche magnetic car mount. As strong as the Scosche magnets are, my case still slips and has fallen off the mount.Just finished applying this case. Very easy and straight forward. -Good button response. -Sides are good to grip with no slipping in my hand. I was concerned the S-pen might be challenging to pop out, but works well. After pressing the pen to pop out, use your fingernail to grip the edge of the pen and it pulls out easily. I can relax now that the charging port and jack plug are protected. My biggest concern was the plastic cover and the response to touch, -response is quick and sensitive. I kept my glass cover and my phone then applied the case. Although it did fit, the response to touch screen was bad, so I removed my glass screen protector. I entertained removing the plastic screen cover to continue with the glass, but that would defeat the sealed protection. Make sure when applying the outer rubber back, look at the front colored portion of the frame. There should be no gap between the color portion and the rubber. If there is simply press the rubber into the track and work around the phone. Make sure the corners are seal the same way.Just know, thermoplastic polyurethane can create static even when wiping with a microfiber cloth, which will collect dust/fibers/hair. I had to take the top cover off 3 times to remove fibers I saw after I applied it. I had extra dust stickers from my previous glass screen protectors I used. Yep, I'm one of those people that can't handle lint/smudges on anything glass.

So iv always used otterbox. I have a dresser full of other cases I tried over the years and never found one I like. It was either to cheaply made or slippery. So I would just go back to otterbox...the issue with otterbox is that the material gets soft over time and the rubber fits loosely on the case. So much that people make videos on how to shrink it. Boil, dryer, etc ways. My buddy had this case on his note and I asked about. I ordered one and love it. Really strong material, love the screen protector since I have the note 8. Hard to take off and put on but that means its durable material. Its rare I write reviews but the other day I was on a ladder and got a call. After the call I put the phone on the 8ft ladder and continued to work. It was dark and I forgot my phone was on top. I folded the ladder and my phone hit the concrete.... not a single scratch or ding. Not even a mark on the white and gray case. Will buy this case from now on. Ordered my wife one also since her otterbox is falling about also and after 5 months. My buddy has had his for s little over a year and it's still going strong. Cant beat the price for a strong but low profile case. Dont keep looking just buy this and you wont regret it.

I had one just like this for my previous phone. I actually dropped my previous phone, a couple of times, on its face, on a ceramic tile floor. All that happened was the case cracked in the corner, I'm sure from absorbing the shock of the fall. I definitely wanted the same kind for my new phone! Will always refer back to these cases to keep my phone safe!UPDATE: I've had this case for a while now. I have dropped my phone, several times on its face, and once in a paved parking lot. What happened? NOTHING!! No cracks anywhere, especially with the phone! I can't rave enough about how awesome this case is!!UPDATE #2: It's been approximately 3 years since I originally purchased this case. It was time for a new one! There was no way I wouldn't get another one just like it due to the original keeping my phone so safe and sound all this time. Again, can't rave enough about how awesome this case is!!!

I believe that this is a study case, easily assembled, good materials not yet dropped but if they hold I'll increase my star count. The screen cover came with some fine dots as if someone was poking it with a sharp object so I am not too happy with that but I don't notice it on my screen anyway I was more concerned with the screen ripping a bit thin and a bit hard to clean on the inside when dust got in by mistake. Overall a great case and the carry plate is he best easy to remove easily put back on my otterbox which was total crap doesn't beat it. Feels sleek feels comfortable in the hands right away. Would easily buy again or a spare just because.

Firstly, THIS IS A GREAT CASE! It's not an Otterbox which is my go to, but that case wouldn't fit right on my phone with the tempered glass, so I was on the hunt. I prefer a sturdier, bulkier case normally - I have butter fingers, so I can't be trusted NOT to drop my phone; though, with cases like that, no matter how many times I have every dropped my phone over the years, it never got damaged. Ordered this after I got a reco and got to see it in person from someone who had it. I am so happy with this case so far. I haven't dropped my phone yet to see how the case will hold up, but few things...1. If you have tempered glass AND use the plastic - IT WON'T WORK! You have to have one or the other. The plastic though works well as a temporary until you can find the right tempered glass that works for you.2. Plastic is easy to pop out, BUT use caution because if you rush, you will crack the front part of the case - trust me, I know someone who did that which is why we were very cautious popping out the plastic.3. When putting on the case, you might feel like the glass won't pop in. Just take your time and apply enough pressure. Don't overdo it and then crack your glass either! It takes some finagling (sp?).4. Buttons work well with this case.5. Oh, whatever tempered glass you do use, once the case is on right, it will lock the glass in. I have the full glass one, not the one that has holes at the top / bottom. It tucked in nicely.Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
