Essential
Apologies for earlier feedback but item was found very well hidden and not in the "secure place" that has been requested

Expensive
They work OK and easy to use but they are expensive. I changed my machine to ET-2750. Ink lasts for ages. Much better value

Only Black is XL. Very expensive. Nasty firmware update last year!
I have an EPSON WF3720.I used non-Epson ink until the end of last year. My printer is set to auto-update, so at the end of 2019, my printer performed a firmware update. At that point, I was using non-Epson ink. After the update, the printer kept performing as normal. One of the colours ran out so I tried to replace it with another same brand non-Epson ink refill. Only to find it wasn't functioning. The colour ran dry while printing. Since I purchased third party ink I blamed them for a bad cartridge and purchased new from the same brand (non-Epson). This didn't work and a test on another colour also failed. Still thinking the third party ink was to blame, I sent everything back for a refund. Which I got.I ordered another set of non-Epson ink from another third-party brand. Again no success.Completely frustrated I convinced myself to spent a whopping £65 for and XL combo Epson ink pack, only to find the black to be XL....But after inserting the colour cartridge, the colour came slowly back to life. It did consume half the ink volume, but it came back. I was kinda surprised to see this happening and put one of the last batch non-Epson ink back in the printer. And yes, the ink lines emptied out again while printing. Epson cartridge back in, and back it came.Funny enough, my old non-Epson ink active (other colours) in the printer during the firmware update was still working. Only when replaced, the malfunction appears, making it look like its the non-Epson ink to blame.Very deceiving by Epson to perform a firmware update like that. Effectively eliminating the possibility to use third-party ink when the active cartridge runs out.If you are not auto-updating firmware like I did, you might be lucky. Non-Epson ink still works with older firmware it seems. Any updates end of last year has cancelled the printer ability to print with non-Epson ink.CL27J9 is my current firmware
