Energizer LED Torch, Camping Accessory, Bright Spotlight, for Indoor, Outdoor, and Battery Powered [Energy Class G]

Needed a torch for the attic and going outside in the winter. The design makes it easy to carry and if i perch it on the side of the trapdoor to the attic, it lights the whole thing up. I noticed on the updated description it says 1 AA battery. Wrong. It needs 4 x D battery. Had it 2 years and still going strong, but buying new batteries just in case. Great for the price but get decent batteries for long term use. Great emergency torch too. Got me through a couple of power cuts. Well worth the price

The Energizer LED Lantern is ideal for what I needed it for. I have a medical condition that affects circulation in my legs which makes it difficult to walk. At night where my balance isn't too good it's difficult to get out of bed safely in the darkness. I keep the Energizer LED Lantern on my bed and when I need to get up it provides a strong, wide beam light, which as it has square lamp I can position it flat on the bed to light my way to the main light switch or if I'm awake I can have a strong light to read by without needing to get out of bed. The problem I've found with other round torches is they roll about whilst the square design of the Energizer LED Lantern means it doesn't and with other torches the batteries don't last long. The information says with 4 batteries the Lantern lasts 200 hours I think. I haven't actually kept a specific count but all I know is that using it several times a night at least, the batteries lasted well over a month to six weeks plus which is the kind of reliability I need. Because I need the light to help me see when I can't walk easily when the light started becoming weak I changed the batteries before it completely failed but as I said it lasted nearly six weeks of nightly use before this happened. The Energizer LED Lantern certainly does everything I want it to do.

We are only replacing our torch as we have not been able to find a replacement bulb. It was an Energizer one too. As we don't want to be in a similar situation later there wasn't much point spending that much money on it but it is a bit basic. It's not as good as the previous model and getting the batteries in and closed is a bit of a fiddle.

Great torch bought for my 84 year old mum in case of a power cut. Easy to use for someone who struggles with their hands. Great brightness and fantastic battery life

Not so great, Thought buying this torch would light up the street, not so, not very bright at all, batteries cost more than the torch. Was going to send it back but had to purchase the batteries for it & wouldn't have been refunded for them :~{

This lantern torch sounds brilliant BUT the battery indicators which you can just about make out.( Only by using another torch!) Imply you can either use 2 batteries or 4 not clear why. Anyway try as I might I cannot screw the top of lantern onto the main body. I am considering returning it to Amazon as it is not of merchantable quality. Never had a problem in my life with a torch!,
