Meaty and effective speaker wire
Oh speaker wire... Any audiophile has opinions about speaker wire, but the truth is that no wire will 'enhance' the listening experience as much as hamper the listening experience the least. I'm using this wire in two locations - one for some bookshelf speakers connected to an amp with my computer and the other are some floor-standing speakers and center speaker in my living room setup. I've had a good experience with both systems so far, but I must comment on an oversight on my part. When purchasing speaker wire, I mistakenly figured that thicker wire = better sound. Instead, thicker wire is best for long-distance sound driving, upwards of 50 feet. At short distance (<8 feet of wire per speaker), the signal deterioration is comparable (to me) between this thick 10 gauge wire and thinner 16 gauge wire. Thicker wire is not *worse* though. However, I have run into issues when connecting this wire to my bookshelf speakers and a few different stereo amps. The wire is so thick that it's difficult to connect to the input terminals, especially on the amps (several because I've been trying a few in this setup). In one instance I essentially split the wire threads into two clumps after stripping off a small piece and wrapped electrical tape around one of the two clumps. This allowed me to actually fit the thick wire into the amp. Obviously not an elegant solution, but to sensitive ears I have not noticed any impact on sound. On my floor-standing speakers I use banana plug adapters which accommodate this thick wire nicely. In the future, I will use a reference sizing chart on wire gauges.Overall I've had a pleasant experience with this wire. It was nicely shipped in one continuous 25-ft piece and included a KNU sticker. All nicely packed with plenty of breathing room for the coiled wire. I did not have to straighten the wire after delivery. The blue rubbery coating is beautiful and smooth to the touch. Most will tuck these wires behind walls etc., but if you lick to see the wires you're in luck. My annoyances with this wire were of my own poor research, so I would still recommend this wire highly.

PERFECTION
Finally a quality speaker wire better than advertised. I went from 12 gauge or what was supposed to be 12 gauge wire to this. And this is true 10 gauge pure copper. Not expecting much of a difference. Well I was wrong. If you know how electrons move and about resistance, and are a true audiophile, you owe it to your ears and system to give this wire a try. Before my amp (Anthem) never got to hot, but definitely got on the warm side. Now running this new wire, my amp runs so cool and clean. I can drive it hard for hours on end and it doesn't even get warm. I would also like to think I can hear a difference in sound quality, but to be honest that could be wishful thinking. (sounded good before) But now I'm definitely in audio heaven. I final gave up on the surround junk with horrible audio, and went back to my 2.1 system. Finally enjoying my audio again the way it was intended. Running top quality separates might be more expensive, but when it comes to audio, in Most cases you get what you pay for. With all sincerity, this wire is worth every penny. I will be buying more to upgrade my sons equipment.(I ORDERD A QUANITY OF 4 AND IT COMES AS A 20 FEET SPOOL UP, EXACTLY AS I EXPECTED) shipping was fast, ordered on a wed, and received Friday.

great stuff.
I got this for my home stereo, Not sure why but I got the itch to try some thicker speaker wire, I was not sure if I would hear any difference in sound or not but I am 90% sure that I do, some people do not think a cable makes one bit of difference but I think they do.I was thinking maybe it would improve the bass response if anything but I am not noticing that at all. I do notice a positive change in tone. the stereo sounds slightly smoother and the highs seem a bit more crisp. The 10 AWG wire barley fit thew the speaker post on my polk audio towers, and it barley fit thew the post on my Cambridge receiver, this is really nice and think wire, the wire is very flexible and easy to work with. I must say this was a good purchase even though its not something I really needed I do think its better than the speaker wire I was using.I am happy

The quality standard.
This wire is beyond quality. The gauge is correct and 100 oxygen free copper. Insulation is thick and durable and is very flexible due to the high strand count. I have this wire as my main connect from my alpine mdx-m240 amp to my alpine type x 12" subs (1000 watt rms load each) and these wires hold up great. Any and all wires that come from KnuKonceptz will change your mind about how wires should be. After buying there 1/0 gauge amp install kit any other brand of wire just will not cut it.

Hands down: cheap yet remarkably high quality Speaker Wire!
This is some of the FINEST speaker cable I have ever laid eyes on and touched. What's more, I can't believe that an item of this quality is available at such a low price. Why would someone DARE spend money on Monster cables when this is available. The construction is rugged and has a really quality robust feel to it, the internal wire is finely wound oxygen free copper, and the quality of the sound I am getting from my M-Audio's is amazing. I have a friend who just put these puppies to work with his Aperion 7.2 Home Theater System; I was there before and after. Holy cow the sound is even more amazing now.
