High quality extension cable
I got this to extend the OEM XLR cable on HiFiMan's HE6se headphones. Many had reported that substituting the OEM with a different cable had the sound quality compromised a bit (the OEM cable doesn't look much but sounds quite amazing). That said, with this extension added I'm happy to report my headphones sound exactly the same and not worse in any way.

Great cable, but give it some break-in time before judging
I really like this balanced headphone extension cable now that I have had it for a few weeks. At first, it seemed a little brassy with some lack of cohesion in the bass region. So, I gave it some time to break in, and the cable settled in nicely. The treble is smooth and the bass is punchy, but does not color the mids. I use it mainly with my Hifiman 4xx's, which really benefit from a nice balanced cable, but it was not long enough to reach my recliner in a reclined position. This balanced 4-pin extension cable has been the perfect solution to that problem.
