These are impressive and healthy. These are not like kale, or sweet potato chips. These are delicious with smooth snap. The mushroom earthy taste rolls over the tongue with a taste that could be recognized from a meal. They are much more than a regular bag of chis, but if you have a picky eater, it helps pull them back with delicious calories.

If you can get past the chalky texture, the flavor is pretty good. The rosemary one is decent and the chili one is my favorite. The truffle packs I'll have to pawn off to somebody else because they are not enjoyable to me. Overall a nice healthier snack.

Pro's:- All 3 flavors taste amazing! (The Trippin' Truffle Parm flavor tastes legitimately like parmesan cheese despite being vegan because of the delicious yeast extract!)- Some of the healthiest snacks on the market! Non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, packed with fiber, REAL ingredients, AND low-oil!- Variety of flavors means you can choose what you're feelingCons:- Each bag contains only 1 small serving- The price is pretty high for such small serving sizes. You get on average about 8-10 or so mushrooms per bag.- The bigger mushrooms can be a little cumbersome to bite into, but the texture itself I think is great & crunchy.- The Twisted Thai Chili flavor is honestly pretty stinky (both when you open the bag & it stinks up your breath after eating it) Again, the taste is fantastic, but the smell can be a bit strong so I recommend chewing some gum afterwards. Maybe avoid taking that one to work hahaOverall these are an excellent healthy snack that tastes great! I highly recommend!

Finding these mushrooms was finding the missing snack I’ve always needed. I tried them at a party and I was skeptical because I’ve had other mushroom snacks that had a chewy or not-totally-crunchy texture.When I bit into the first mushroom, it shattered, it was so crispy and crunchy. And yet, despite being dry enough to achieve that crunch, when you bite into them they reconstitute immediately in your mouth, giving you a totally pleasant eating experience that releases so much shiitake flavor.And then the flavor itself - the mushrooms are great, and the spices they’re flavored with are all fabulous. Thai chili is hands-down the best, but the truffle parm & rosemary salt are very close seconds.Spend the money, these are so worth it. I will go broke for these mushrooms, I don’t care.

Tasty. Worth the price? Maybe…….

Given that I'm not generally the biggest mushroom fan (as much as I want to be for their health properties!), I didn't expect to love these the way that I do. They are so ridiculously good that the first night I had my order I ate TWO bags, one each of the rosemary and truffle ones. I crave them constantly and already placed my second order within a month time. Not only are all 3 flavors tasty, but I also love: they are vegan, they are healthy, the company is awesome (including giving to charities and having amazing customer service).

Now I must preface this post and my review with the fact that I have never been a fan of mushrooms, of any kind, and before this review I had never tried crispy shiitakes — so I really did have to come into it with an open mind. My picky palate aside, I very much enjoyed the flavored Popadelics presents, and would not hesitate to try more in the future. These do provide a decent snack, as 1 bag is 180 calories, and provide a crispy, chip-like bite, and lets be honest— who doesn’t love chips? The benefit of Popadelics over chips though takes the win. Popadelics is low in oil, flavor and nutrient contents are saved (unlike many chip options out there), they’re vegan, and ingredients are minimal. All these are a plus for me. All in all, Popadelics really stood their ground, and other than the fact that they’re mushrooms, I am quite pleased by this taste test and would suggest them to anyone looking for a healthy snack/chip alternative.

I will say that first off I am not a mushroom person but I do love truffle and parm. The smell was so strong when I opened the bag. I had my mushroom loving husband try them first and they were not for him. Maybe a different flavor is more palatable
