3rd motor in 5 years!
This motor make it the 3rd one in 5 years, though not the fault of the company making the motor. The manufacturer decided to place the gutter so it empties on top of the motor. Since it’s not water proof, they go bad. Easy to replace, direct fit.

No manual override.
This product does not have a manual 7/16nut and shaft driven override. This is my third motor due to water shorting out the existing motor when the awning is rolled up. Without the manual override nut and shaft I cannot open my awning all the way to access and replace the motor. It would be fine if the motor shorted out when the awning was fully extended, I could replace the motor. But in my case that never happens.I will be returning this item.

Great Affordable Awning Motor
Our fifth wheel RV has two power awnings. I like to have a spare for commonly failed parts and this is one of them. I ordered this to have a spare in the camper just in case. The motor looks like very good quality and it works flawlessly as I hooked it up to a battery to test it. The price is way less than a factory part and worthy of 5 stars. Hopefully I'll never need it but I'll have it if I do.
