The Siedentopf binocular head allows you to easily adjust the interpupillary distance between the eyepieces without the need to readjust the focus. The 3D double-layer mechanical stage provides smooth movement along the X, Y and Z axes. Erogonomically positioned translation knobs control the X and Y movement, and coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs control the vertical Z axis. LED illumination provides low-heat, daylight-balanced light which is particularly helpful when viewing live specimens. Also featured is the interchangeable condenser, offering the ability to use darkfield and phase-contrast techniques.
