Q: Would these be any good for marking soap?

I actually used these moulds for bathbombs, but as a soap maker I would say they would be absolutely fine for soap as long as you tape up the small hole in the moulds so the mixture doesn't run away. You may find that both sides of the dinos put together may make a rather large soap though.

Q: What's the recipe on the packaging as I have lost

100g butter 130g caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 eggs 150g self-raising flour, sieved 3 tsp milk Bake for 15-20 minutes on 180 degrees C.

Q: Does it go in the oven ?

yes it does, it will have what you can do with it on description if you google it, i got it for my grandson, great success, there is a recipe with it, and instructions, etc., you can find these before you buy when you look it up. he used his chocolate cake mixture and put in more so didn`t have two halves to put together, ie. with butter icing. I also noticed if i purchased it from lakland plastics there was a postage charge and I couldn`t see that it could be posted direct to him so i would have pay again, but from Amazon it can go direct to him and no postage charge as with Prime. Q: Why does one half have holes in them?

When you fill one part you cover another with holes on top. Through this holes steam goes out and the dough rising up. The dinosaurs bakes amazing. I did use recipe which is on the cover of the mould.
