These fit as an adaptor between my makita sander and hoover. They can be cut to fit different devices and if you need a snug fit then applying a little electrical tap does the trick.

The step down tubes are great, just a pity you can’t split them so that you could use them on another hose instead of having a good proportion stuck in a hose doing nothing.

This little set of dust hose step down adapters are handy for reducing the size of your vacuum hose to fit onto the smaller dust ports of many power tools.You get 6 x tubes in the pack which are made from a fairly rigid PVC material, but it can still be flexed slightly if needed, so can be slid onto very slightly larger diameter pipes, or squeezed into slightly smaller ones.The outer diameter of the largest section is 42mm, with the inner diameter being approximately 38mm.The tubes then step down to 34mm, 30mm and 25mm (external).You can cut the tubes down to the appropriate size, although depending on the tool or pipe being connected you may not need to cut it, as the excess sections may fit inside the hose.***** In The Box *****6 x Step down hose connectors***** Conclusion *****I recently made a couple of hose adapters for tools using some old plastic bottles and a heat gun to shrink them, which worked ok but wasn’t the best solution as it can be difficult to source the correct sized bottles.This set of 6 adapters from Ronyes is really useful as you can easily cut different adapters down to size using a Stanley blade, to fit different power tools, which then saves you from having to move adapters from tool to tool.It is worth double checking the size of your vacuum hose, as these adapters are quite small in diameter. I was unable to use it directly with my Dewalt shop vac as it has a much larger diameter. Luckily, I had an adapter to reduce the shop vac hose which will then fit into the largest section of these tubes.I think the current asking price of £8.99 offers great value for money, considering you get 6 in a pack and definitely worth considering if you want to attach multiple tools to your vac/dust extractor.

Made of nice sold grippy plastic they were the solution I needed to connect my vacuum tools straight to the hose.Had to saw two to make it happen but even that was easy.Should last ages 5/5
