*** Revised review ***After submitting the 2-star review (see below) the seller reached out to me and replaced my order and included extra adhesive tabs. The product is now working perfectly and I am extremely happy with the customer service I received.-----I like the idea of this product, the windows in my office have aluminum frames so I can’t drill anything into them. With that being said, this is a great product except the adhesive doesn’t stick. Put the cable and the adhesive hooks as instructed, and the adhesive lasted for exactly 2 hours, before pulling off of the window

Leave the adhesive hooks up for 24 hours before hanging anything from them
These are so easy to use, and do hold up well. the hooks just screw into the end of the wire, even after cutting.I had no problem cutting them, I used some pliers but I think any good pair of scissors would work. I can't comment on how much weight they can hold up because I used them to hang a banner, however it was metal, so probably about as heavy if not heavier than curtains. As for the adhesives: It says leave them up for 24 hours before hanging anything from them. If you can read you can get these to work.

Works well
We have a little nook under our stairs that we have boxes stored in. I wanted a way to hang a sheet or curtain up to hide the boxes. This item came in quick. I followed all the directions, but unfortunately the adhesive hooks were useless. I ended up but “eye” hooks from the store and screwing them into the wall. The cording works great and the curtain I have on it on an angle doesn’t move.

Not sticky enough. Update!
I like the idea of it. I really didn’t want to screw into my washroom door. So I gave this a good try, the sticky backs are not strong enough to hold even one sheer panel. I really wanted to like this. Looks like I will have to let my husband put screws in the door.Update: I tried some two part epoxy and the panel is still up. So no holes in my door and I will not have to send it back.

Does its job
The string was quite long and you can cut it according to your need. It comes with multiple hooks, so can be used for more than one project. Overall good for its price.

WASTE of money
I put the wire up exactly right and even added extra support. My curtains fell in middle of the night and knocked over some things I had nearby… it scared the you know what out of me. Waste of money.. I should have known but wanted a quick curtain install for a rental.

Great for curtains in weird spaces
We bought this to hang curtains on our back porch. Works great and holds well in the high winds we get here.

I like it!
A good substitute if you don’t want to change a single rode to a double one. Just hanged mine and I like it. Easy to use. I was concerned if hooks would stay in place and was surprised that It was hard to take them out the wire ones they were in. I would cut a little less than you measure because it stretches.
