Good buy.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my little sister after it was added to her list at the last minute. She loves Moshi's so she was happy and it's not too expensive.

Kiddies favourite!
These figures were bought as stocking fillers ( two different packs were ordered ) and brought hoots of delight when opened, especially as they were ones that my granddaughter didn't already have and included some ultra rare ones!

Children's introduction to collecting stuff, for better or worse.
There is little to recommend Moshi Monsters in terms of play value, educational merit or general usefulness, let's be clear about that from the outset. My six-year-old daughter liked them, and asked for them, because her friends have some, and some of their collections are massive. Boxes, folders with pages of card inserts, all manner of displays were to be found. The product range itself is varied too, there are Moshlings, MM cards, various boxes and display methods, the list appears to be endless, and that's the problem.I could suggest that there is benefit in the practice of collecting, i.e. it teaches children to cooperate, in this case, swap, to complete their collections, but as I mentioned, there are so many varieties that no child would ever get to the end of them, and it looks like more are coming down the production line every day. A finite collection would be a better thing, as the child would have some sense of achievement, but I get the impression that our children's sense of achievement is not foremost in the mind of the manufacturer.I was relieved when the school banned them. One child lost some down the drain, and was inconsolable. Another child was simply taking them from the smaller children, and parents were summoned. Since that ban was instituted, my daughter seems to have forgotten about Moshi Monsters, and that suits me fine.
