Installed in 2013 Mazda CX5. Nice plug and play, the gps attachment seems to be working fine. Unable to use steering controls for radio, possibly my error with install will have to read manual again. Connecting rearview OEM camera with the needed wiring (extra around $20) was a little time consuming. Found youtube video that was helpful to get camera working. Purchased different model for our Mazda Speed 3, hopefully with same success.

I was able to connect the unit to my 2014 mazda CX5. Car Play and radio are working well. Hard to read the instructions in manual. Comments by TXSURFER helped a lot, along with youtube videos. Not able to connect the camera. Seller must post a clear wiring diagram or a video clip on connecting the backup camera.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this product. The instructions are not helpful at all. They are confusing, vague, and contain diagrams and photos of some other stereo that is not this one. I have been trying to install this for a month now, with every random connection I can guess and I cannot get the camera to function. I have bought aftermarket adapters and tried to manually splice wires together as well. The instructions that the seller sent me after reaching out were also incorrect. Very disappointed and frustrated. I wish that I had spent my money on a name brand stereo where I could get a more reliable product and also better support.

The media could not be loaded. No regrets! Very nice appearance and sound quality! Sooo easy to install with the included wiring harness. The existing harness from your Mazda CX5 plugs into the harness, the the other side of the harness plugs into the Android radio. Super simple! It fired right up and was ready to use! To connect to Carplay just connect your phone to the Android unit via Bluetooth. It’s listed as CarBT, password if needed is 0000. The display is nice and crisp looking and the touchscreen is very responsive. The bezel is nice glossy black and matches the interior of my CX5 exactly. I would recommend this Android unit for your car. This is the first day Ive had it. If I encounter any problems I’ll update this review. Mine was purchased for $138 minus a $20 coupon. Oh it also came with the backup camera. I haven’t hooked it up yet.

The installation was straight forward and it looks like the car was bought with the android installed. YouTube was a big help in showing how to remove the old oem radio. The oem radio was a cd, am/fm, usb and 3.5 mm jack in the center console. The harness provided fit perfectly. The installation instructions provided with this unit are less than clear. A helpful harness diagram that clearly shows the back up camera signal wire on the harness is on the android radio in car settings. Also, the unit does not come with an adapter for the car’s auxiliary plug. On my car, the auxiliary was the 3.5 mm jack. I cut the cars auxiliary plug wires and spliced in a couple of RCA male plugs and plugged them into the RCA audio in on the android. Also, an adapter (not provided) is needed to convert the cars USB plug into a 4 pin plug that can be inserted in the back of the android. This way the center console usb and 3.5 mm jack continue to function. All in all, a very reasonable priced way to get CarPlay.

So basic things like radio, steering wheel controls, and Bluetooth audio work. The audio quality is worse than the factory head unit, there is some sort of equalizer hidden in the service menu but good luck tuning it, settings are scattered all over the place - this applies to everything UI-related, every single user interface is weird.Android Auto is emulated through some zlink software and requires both Bluetooth and USB connections to the head unit from the mobile phone, it doesn't start automatically when you start the car with the phone connected, each time an app needs to be opened before the whole thing connects.Factory installed (OEM) backup camera will not be compatible with the head unit, that is why they give you a box with an auxiliary camera that you can manually wire through your car cutting into reverse light wires to get power.Instructions included were for some other product version with different user interfaces and connections at the back of the unit.

Nice fit for Mazda Cx5 2014 the Carplay work well with iPhone wireless only for Android you need to connect with the cable cause no work with the wireless form. Probably need a new update. But anyways work Amazing!
