Polo Shooting Stick in Brown

Bought for my father who is in his 80's to use when he is out and about (for which I bought a stopper for the spike so can be used on hard surfaces) or walking dog so he can rest as he suffers from bad arthritis. Sturdy and attractive design and height adjustable. Great price - I paid discounted price of £25. The best thing about this product for me is it gives my father comfort and he always has somewhere he can rest now (he's not keen on using walking stick - as makes him feel old, but loves this)

The item was delivered quickly and was of good quality. The price was for this item was I consider to be fair and I feel that I have had a reasonable deal. I would certainly buy another one if required. Three points that together take one star away. One, the adjustment screw was very stiff and it was hard to screw in and out. I had to use a pair of pliers. Two, the seat was a little small for my behind and as such sitting for any length of time would be uncomfortable. I'm sixteen stone an 5 foot 10 inches tall. Three, the stick when being used as a walking stick is not very comfortable in my hand, a little more padding on the handle would be nice. I use the seat to help when out walking with my arthritic hip, allowing me to sit for five minutes of relief time before I start walking again. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and it does exactly what I wanted it for at a reasonable price.

I visit galleries and legs get tired; I bird watch and legs get tired; I look at landscapes and seascapes and legs get tired - but no more! This a superb affair and quite simply I don't know what some of the critical reviewers are after: I think it's called being pernickety.Well made, comfortable and a real bargain at the price. Buy the ferrules recommended and you're set up for a snip!

I haven't yet tried this Polo Walking Stick but have set it to the height I need for comfort both walking and sitting. While it looks sturdy enough compared with other more expensive sticks I found it rather stiff to set and had to get my son to help me get it into a suitable slot on the stick so that it could be set appropriately. I ended up having to use a silicone spray to get it to slide a bit easier during setting and also used this on all the moving joints which will prevent them from corroding and keep them supple.

Lightweight, but robust and well mmanufactured. Adjustable enough to comfortably accommodate me & I'm 6' 6". Ideally should have the option of being provided with rubber ferrules, rather than having to purchase them separately.

This is a very sturdy shooting stick made of heavy gauge aluminium with a leather folding seat. There is a folding disc at the bottom of the stick to stop the spike going too far into the ground. The stick is adjustable for length, using a bolt with a knurled knob that screws into holes on the sliding part of the stick to lock it to the required length. The holes are about 4 cms apart, which seems a fairly coarse adjustment, but it actually works out fine in use.It can be quite tricky to find the hole to screw the locking bolt into, and care needs to be taken not to spoil the stick by attempting to tighten the bolt into the wrong point.

This walking stick exceeded my expectations. It is very well built from quality components. These things are never very comfortable to sit on, but this is equally as good as anything else I have tried. Excellent value for money. If you are in the market for a quality shooting stick, you cannot go far wrong with this. Highly recommended.
