Q: Does this come with the paperwork for Bakflip to get the 5 year warranty?

There is not paperwork for the warranty. You can register on the Bak website once purchased. But as long as you have the receipt that will serve as your registration. We will ask for that upon opening a claim.

Q: I have a 2019 6’4” bed non-ram box but it has the bed utility group with adjustable cargo hooks. Will this fit?

Type in your your trucks make and model in the garage setting. It will tell you if it fits your truck or not.

Q: Can I only open one or two panels or is it all or nothing?

You can open one or two panels, but you should not drive unless the cover is closed or completely open.

Q: Tring to figure out why it would not work on the multi-function tailgate. Or is this only because you have not tried it?

The Ram with the multi-function tailgate has inner bed sidewall reinforcements/supports on the cab side (top of the rail) that will interfere with the placement of the cover rails and most likely the cover itself. I am sure that the manufacturer could re-design the rails and cover to work around or with these obstructions but it would likely be difficult (or perhaps impossible) for an installer to try to alter the cover to work with these obstructions. The sidewall supports are necessary to support the additional pressure placed on the bed sides by the side hinged multi-function tailgate and should NOT be removed. I love the multi-function tailgate but it is annoying that no one makes a hard cover that works with the tailgate. The Mopar soft cover that came with my truck is great and works fine but the added security of a hard cover would be nice.
