Q: I'm just looking for a nozzle that last.. how is this one holding up? thank you.

I bought this nozzle 15 years ago after using it at the fire station to wash the apparatus. The nozzle is of premium quality and tuff as nails. I've hooked it up to a 3/4" forestry line with 150 psi just to see how the stream was and it appeared to be the same as what we use in the fire service. Mine has developed a very fine mist that leaks however after 15 years and the abuse I've put it through, you'll hear no complaints from me. Will it last, yeah, it'll last and perform so well, you'll wish you had bought two or three.

Q: Several people mention a 'handle'. what handle? this looks exactly like bon-aire original ultimate hose nozzle 'with no handle'.

What you see is what you get? Not sure about a handle reference. This is the best hose nozzle I've found. Live in Florida where it's exposed to heat, humidity and rain, and it lasts for years.

Q: does this fit 1" hose

If you mean 1" fire hose thread NH, no it does not. It fits up to 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread) but GHT to NH adapters are readily available.Try these guys. http://www.firehosedirect.com/adapter-guide/

Q: No where on mine does it say what it's made of. I ordered the stainless and want to make sure I didn't get the aluminium. ?

The back of the package states: Engineered from rugged extruded aluminum, forged stainless steel, high-grade fiberglass, and comfort grip soft rubber. It feels heavy and substantial. Mine has been on the back deck on the oceanfront all summer and looks as good as the day it went out there. We do not get a heavy forceful spray. Works well, also, has an outdoor shower spray and for plant watering. It, also, works like a regular hose nozzle. Just does not have the pressure with our 5/8 inch hose. Perhaps, Virginia Beach has low water pressure. A relative like ours so much that he ordered one just to have for his garden.
