Easy Intall
I'm a bit primitive when it comes to hardware. So I was worried about installing this myself. I have an Omen 15 laptop. I followed the tutorial of a YouTube that recommended this for my laptop model. I followed the tutorial & it worked. Didn't even have to restart my laptop multiple times or anything. Got it formatted on my PC & now I can run games from it. Runs well. I have space to download games now & I don't have to worry about storage space.

READ THIS!
I recently got this as I’ve recently built my own gaming PC (thanks to friends help) and with all the games I’ve downloaded plus the weekly updates I quickly ran out of storage space. I got this in 4TB and for the price it was ok not gonna lie it hurt the wallet a bit but compared to all $ I dropped building a PC oh well. It works fine my only issue is that it does not come with a set up guild. Lucky for me I have 2 friends ( Dave & Justin ) who have helped me and now I can help you in return. After installing this in the mother board usually behind a panel near where the graphics card is installed. Type format into the bottom left search bar, that will bring up a page with SSD cards that have been installed, right click the SSD you want to format, it should have base settings already filled in the just click format and your SSD is installed. Yep it’s that simple I felt kinda silly after installing it but with out help I would have had no way of knowing how to Install it hopefully this will help someone as it has helped me.

Not Short Lived
I did some further investigating, there was a photo editing software that I had downloaded and was using causing the computer to shut down. Most have been a driver/software conflict as my anti-virus program didn't pick up anything suspicious. Since Un-installing it, I've not had any issues.I bought this 1TB drive on Sept12, 2021. As of today, Mar4, 2023, I cannot keep the computer operational for more than an hour without getting a blue screen of death. The ad says there is a 6 year parts and labor warranty. I will be trying to reach out and activating this. I've even done a Windows reset to ensure there was not a software conflict. Until this past few weeks, it's worked great for the mild gaming and daily work I utilize this computer for.

First m.2 drive
Bought 2 of these. One for my gaming pc and one for my son. This was my first time using an M.2 drive. These were easy to setup. I've been using this for over a year now. The drives are working great and I would highly recommend them to others. My only regret is not buying a larger drive. I got the 1tb and should have bought the 2tb.

Good product
Package is kind of bad. It's like the sealed plastic that's terribly hard to cut open even with scissors. Other than that no issues. Microcenter inland always reliable.

Perfect for game storage
I have a Sabrent Rocket 4.0 500GB for my OS, and I was using one 2TB SSHD and one 2TB 7200rpm HDD for game storage. I wanted to get my games on an NVME and I started looking around. This one by Microcenter kept coming up and the reviews were very positive, so I pulled the trigger.Speeds are great for a Gen3 PICe drive, I had no issues installing in my X570 Elite's secondary M.2 slot. Using the heatsink that came with my motherboard, I am getting temps in the low 30's at idle, and upper 40's/low 50's under load. Not too shabby.Performance is great, games load much faster now. When faced with the choice of a 2TB SSD from, say, Samsung, or a 2TB M.2 for around the same price, to me it's a no-brainer: Go with the faster drive.UPDATE: Was concerned reading all the one star reviews about failure shortly after buying. Two weeks of daily use, and roughly 1/3 full, and readings are still quite good (see pics).

High capacity, great price!
I bought 2 of these for my system. Out of the box, they have zero technical defects and were immediately detected by my motherboard. They come with a 3-year warranty through Microcenter, and a 200TB endurance rating. This endurance rating is on the low side for drives this large (2TB), but that is a consideration to make when saving money. I probably wouldn't recommend them if you are the type to uninstall and reinstall COD:MW over and over again.I set these up through my motherboard (X570) as a Raid 0 array, and I use this a my primary boot drive. The process is not that straight forward, but works incredibly well (ATTO results pictured). I believe my motherboard splits lanes to one M.2 from the CPU, and the other from the chipset, so depending on your motherboard, you could probably see better results than mine. *I wouldn't recommend these as boot drives in this configuration if you're not the type to backup your data regularly*
