Premium Quality Cargo Basket
Purchased along with rail bars and a 21cuft cargo bag to accommodate luggage for six on a cross country trip. Without this basket, the cargo bag would have rested directly on top of the 2021 Tahoe, which has a panoramic sunroof. Not ideal for a nearly 3k mile trip. This basket kept everything off the truck and even allowed the use of the sunroof with no interference. This basket seems well made. Assembly was time consuming, but not difficult. Assembly instructions were included. There were basically no installation instructions, as far as how to secure the basket to the rail bars. I had to figure that out on my own. The way i ended up securing to the rail bars must have been at least sufficient, as we ran about 80 mph for 2000+ miles on I-90 with no issues at all. I found a couple of youtube videos of folks installing this basket to rail bars, but none appeared to be correct to me, as the included U-bolts ended up facing up, which likely would have damaged the cargo bag. I've included a couple photos of how i situated the hardware while securing to the rail bars. The metal bracket is below the bars and the U-bolt is on top of the bars, facing down. The basket stayed in place. Never budged. The basket housed the 21cuft cargo bag containing at least seven pieces of luggage and two gym bags. Oh, and my 15 year old step son who was wrestling the luggage into place. There was room left over ever after we stuffed the huge cargo bag full, which allowed us to secure even more items in the basket using the included cargo net. Very handy. This cargo basket was truly tested and performed wonderfully. Im beyond satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend the Tuffiom cargo basket.

Big and heavy duty. Easy install
Definitely heavy duty! Used to for the cross country move on GL 450 Mercedes. And were able to fit multiple large suit cases, pelican storage case and an old rocking chair 😅 We also strapped everything in with actual straps (to the basket) but net that came with it is definitely very helpful.Easy to install and you can make it smaller by reconfiguring grate panels.

Works good overall, but upgrade fasteners
Good strong cage overall to carry your gear. Off-roaders beware, if your vehicle is jostling around with a load in the cage, the low budget plastic wing nuts may loosen up to the point of detaching! Even when cranked down at the beginning of your trip. I plan to switch over nylon insert locking nuts. See attached picture after just one camping trip.

Fairly easy to build and very handy
I looked all over for something to fit my adult trike on the back of my van. Nothing fit the measurements so I took a chance on this one because of the price, lightweight and ease of assembly from the reviews. I am glad I did. My trike doesn't fit exactly in it, but it fits nicely around it and up with a little maneuvering. I am disabled and am still able to get it on and strap it in if I do it right and am careful. I also was able to put it together with a little help from a young nephew.Things to keep in mind- definitely do not tighten before having the all on. Definitely use the stabilizing bracket properly.Lay it all out in the shape and once you get the first couple in, you will see the pattern and how easy it is and it will just take a bit to get the all on then go back and tighten. Everything was included so that made it super easy. I do recommend doing it on a table if you can or your back/knees will hurt. It is pretty lightweight but once the bar is added, it gets heavier. It can be done but much easier with 2.My only complaint is that I wish it were curved a bit up so I didn't drag it. On big speed bumps or low dips, it drags a bit on the bottom no matter how careful I am. Even more so with the bike on it.

You get what you pay for
It's not very strong, not very stable. And it rusted at the joints the first night it sat in the rain. I'm not happy. I have to take the damn thing off paint it and put it back on. If I put it back on

Rust Alert!!
Easy to put together and attach to my Escape. The only problem is that I used it once and it is already rusting at the welds holding it together. It served its purpose for the family vacation but would have bought a different one if I had know it was going to rust this way.

Looks legit
So being 5’1 and female with nobody to help or answer questions I managed to get it done. However the screws with the blue thingy in it. That didn’t work and I had to use an electric drill. Maybe some explanation of how to use these items instead of assuming EVERYONE knows how to properly use those types of tools. The video instructions went to fast. I got the 64” and put on top of my 2009 Land Rover LR2. Looks good and I’m happy. I’ll update if anything changes
