I didn't realise how loud my old motor had gotten until I replaced it. Can barely tell it's running!

Great little fan motor
It didn't fit prefectly, but that might be because my four-wheeler is a few four-wheelers bashed together, but once fitted, it runs prefectly

NOT direct fit for 1996 magnum
The motor is physically bigger than stock; Had to drill/grind bracket a bit to make it fit. The mounting shaft is also a bit larger than the stock fan, so I had to modify that as well. Otherwise it fits and runs well.

Cheap alternative, works.
Just installed so I don't know the longevity, works now. The only mild complaint is the mounting tabs are a little off, had to drill out hole on the plate to install.

Bought for a 1996 Polaris and xpress 300 2x4, bolted right to the factory mount and works great.

Not Equivalent to Polaris #4170009
This fan is much larger than the OEM Polaris #4170009 fan this fan claims to replace. It will not fit the factory bracket without modification. The motor itself appears to be decently built and has quite a bit of torque. The wiring is the correct length, gauge, and color, and is terminated to match the OEM fan which is nice. There is no vent/breather for this fan as there was on the OEM fan, which could be both good and/or bad depending on the situation. It's a shame that this motor doesn't fit, as it seems there are no other aftermarket options available...

Exactly the same as original! The Best Value!
Perfect Fit! Works great! Almost $200 LESS than what dealer wanted for same motor! Even had the correct wire colors and terminals on it and plugged right in.
