Unexpected.
Update - still using the first 2 cases I purchased and they work perfectly. Won’t charge to 100% but that’s expected. CarPlay works perfect. Buy two and rotate while one charges. Didn’t expect this case to last 6 months of daily use but it is. Again, maybe I got very lucky with a good batch.Like clockwork I usually have to buy a battery case every 6 months. Additionally every case usually has one of the following issues: lightning port is loose, or the case is impossible to remove, CarPlay doesn’t work, etc etcThis is the first case where the lightning connection is very tight, and CarPlay kinda works lol. I say kinda because on one of them it has stopped working, but the case is very easy to remove so it’s not a big deal.Basically this case is a steal at the current price. I’m guessing it’s just a good batch, but I purchased 4 of them which hopefully will last me the life of the phone. This is a legit 5 star review- for the price and overall build of the case this can’t be beat. Just do what I did and buy more than 1 because all cases like this eventually go bad. I’m expecting it to go bad but so far after 2 months the port isn’t loose and it’s perfect.

Still going strong after a year and a half.
i bought this for my iphone SE and i’ve had it for well over a year. it still works just as well as the day i bought it. i just wish i could find one that could find one that would fit on my iphone 12. the battery life lasts for hours. it’s not too bulky. easy to take off and put on. i’ve dropped it a few times and it doesn’t even have a scratch. it was worth the money and i love the look.

Works good but has a flaw.
I’ve had a case like this before and love it. It finally broke and I knew I needed another one. Couldn’t find the same product so I bought this case because it had the largest battery. Over all, it’s awesome. It has one issue with it that drives me nuts. This case has a single button that starts and stops the charging. The button is not recessed, if I put my phone down wrong the button gets pressed and the case will begin charging when I don’t want to. It also can stop charging when I don’t want it to. Honestly the button should be shielded or recessed. If that was the case, this would be a 100% recommendation. However it’s not and it’s driving me crazy. Plenty of options out there to a point I’d avoid buying this if I could.Edit, the case has a large split in the side now. I didn’t do anything to cause it and it seems to run along the battery compartment. This case is far less durable that the other brand I’ve tried before and the button activating charging on its own still drives me nuts. Don’t buy this case.Edit 2; the case no longer functions. I can charge the case but the case no longer charges the phone. I remove the case and the phone charges just fine. So the case has failed and this is now the worst case I’ve had as far as charging cases go. Don’t buy it.

Good case with battery with one design flaw
This is a good case overall. Three things go against it.1. With this case, the phone will definitely be bulkier and heavier, noticeably.2. DESIGN FLAW: unfortunate placement of the power button. The case should begin to charge your phone when you press on that button once. Well, if you put your phone down (screen facing up) just a little too hard, the case will start the charging process without you maybe noticing. The same goes if I put the phone on a phone-stand or if I put it in my pocket. Generally, maybe not a big deal. But the batteries don't like this on and off games.3. Another downside of this charger: you can't use wired headphones while your phone is inserted in that charger case. It was not designed to accept the line input adapter. That is, you can insert one, but nothing will happen, no sound. Of course, Bluetooth-enabled headphones is still the option.Other than those things, it is a good case for the money. The charging case should give you two re-charge cycles, if you don't allow your phone's battery drop below 30%. Of course, a lot depends on how you use your phone. Power-draining apps, mostly streaming ones, force frequent re-charging.Update 5/24/2024 - And just like that, about a year later, the case stopped charging my phone.I can still fully charge the case itself, but the case does not charge my phone anymore. I can charge my phone directly, without the case, just fine. So, the verdict: life expectancy of this case = 1 year.

Durable and Effective
My 13-year-old son fell in love with an expensive version of this charger in some high-end technology store and I refused to buy it knowing I could find a less expensive version of this charger online. In the store they wanted $75 for a charger case that allegedly provided a charge for up to three days. My research helped find this case which had good reviews overall. We gave it to our son for his birthday and he loves it. He confirmed that the charge does last for up to three days and he said it removed the stress he once had about ensuring that his phone's charge would last an entire day, even with heavy use. In addition, this case was far less bulky than the one in the store. Even with the case, his phone is still relatively small and sleek and can still fit comfortably in a pocket. We are very pleased with this purchase and would purchase again.
